•Chapter 21•

After a long, relaxing sleep and refreshing shower, I had a clear mind. I had a plan figured out. I was ready to conquer love.

The day before, I was fuming about Blake dating Emily and I now realised that I was being a hypocrite. I was dating Levi so it should be okay for Blake to date Emily, right? At least he didn't keep it a secret like I did.

On the other hand, he was dating my arch enemy. The girl I despised and thought he despised too. Wasn't that just low of him? It gave me reasons to think something was massively wrong with him. I was almost certain he had found out about Levi and was doing this to get back at me.

Well, two can play at that game. I had already spoken to Levi to gain his consent for the plan and he had fortunately, though understandably reluctantly agreed.

I may have been wrong to date Levi and not inform Blake but he didn't have to date Emily, it could have been any other girl. My plan was purely based on how hurt I was feeling. I just wanted Blake to understand how much it hurt when I heard about him and Emily dating.

I spotted the person I had arranged to meet with. They were seated at a table on the outside of the cafe, drinking a cup of tea and looking down at their phone.

I walked over. "Got the hot chocolate I requested?"

The person sitting opposite me, jumped a mile into the air. "Dammit, you scared me."

I shot them a cheeky grin, as I sat down.

"So can I still take you up on that offer?" I asked, hopefully.

I had decided it would be easier to just tell them the reason I was here and get this over with as soon as possible.

"Straight to the point, I see. I like it."

"-ake? Are you listening?" An annoying voice pulled me out of my chaotic thoughts.

I snapped my head towards the voice and put on a fake smile.

"Of course I'm listening, Emily." I replied, trying to keep the annoyance out of my voice.

"Good. So yeah, the next party we go to, we gotta match so everyone knows that were a couple..." I drifted off into my own world again, as Emily chattered away, annoyingly.

I don't know what to do anymore. This time I've really screwed things up with Ariana. I'm sure she would have heard about me and Emily dating by now. But now she would probably never want me back.

I knew what I was doing was wrong, but I did it to get her back. I wanted to make her realise that she wanted me back. I guess I was giving her the sign she was talking about yesterday.

All of a sudden, Emily sat on my lap pulling me out of my thoughts, once again. She placed her hands on my face and looked into my eyes.

"Blake, I know you're not listening to me. What's bothering you so much that you can't even listen to your own girlfriend?"

"Uh, I was just thinking about how I agreed to meet up with the guys." I lied smoothly, pushing her off my lap and walking out of the house.

As I walked away from her house, I called Jacob and let him know that I was coming over. He informed me that the other guys were already there.

I ran a hand through my hair as I got into my car. I've really done it this time. There was no way my cute, innocent, beautiful ex-girlfriend would ever take me back. I stooped so low by going out with her enemy. I knew Ariana had a strong dislike for Emily, yet I chose to date her. I knew their past and the reasons why they didn't like each other.
