Chaeyoung POV

"Jisoo, babe, there you are. Really, you've got some nerves. I can't believe I make time to come to the party and my girlfriend isn't there to greet me."

We both turned towards the direction the voice came from and saw a beautiful young woman approaching us. And when I say "beautiful", I mean "drop dead gorgeous". She had long, brown hair which was tied into an elegant looking ponytail. Big, round eyes that were beaming with life. And perfectly shaped, long legs which were nicely displayed by the white, long dress she wore with slit on one side, nicely showing off those previously mentioned legs. And apparently she knew Jisoo.

"Ji-Hyun, I'm so glad that you could make it." The black haired girl to my right exclaimed and embraced this woman in a warm hug. "Chaeyoung, this is Ji-Hyun Kim, my fellow actress in the upcoming movie we've been talking about."

"That's right, I'm Jisoo's secret girlfriend." Ji-Hyun said and extended her hand for me to shake it. "It's nice to meet you, Chaeyoung."

With my brain working a bit slowly, it took me a second to process all this new information. I slowly took the other woman's hand and shook it. "Yes, nice to meet you. So when you called Jisoo your girlfriend, you referred to the movie." I chuckled with a mixture of nervousness and relieve. When I heard this woman calling Jisoo her "girlfriend" and saw the two women hugging, my heart sank to my feet. But why was it that, even now that I knew these two weren't a real couple, I still felt like shit? Oh, right. Because I was just about to pour out my heart to Jisoo and then this woman comes around and steals her attention from me. Now they were talking to each other, almost as if I wasn't even there. And they way Jisoo laughed at her jokes, genuinely, not tainted by the burden of the sad past that she and I shared, why did I feel so out of place?

Because this is what you caused. Because of you, Jisoo has a new life now and you are simply not a part of that.

"Okay Jisoo, it was good to see you, but I have to go now." Ji-Hyun said with an apologetic smile on her face.

"Already?" Jisoo pouted cutely and grabbed the other woman's hand. "But you just came."

"Sadly, I didn't yet." Ji-Hyun replied, making both her and Jisoo laugh. " I'm on a tight schedule so I really could just peek inside and say hello. I'll see you next week." The two women hugged and the taller girl looked at me with a smile. "It was nice meeting you, Chaeyoung." She turned around and disappeared in the crowd of people as I could do nothing but watch after her, too distracted by whatever was happening inside my head.

Just the voice next to me was able to bring me back into reality. "How about we go back inside too? Lisa insisted to roll this stupid dice until she would get "breasts" and I am slightly concerned for Jennie's safety." Jisoo said chuckling and I agreed.

The moment was over anyway, there was no way I could just picked up where we got interrupted by... this woman. She was gorgeous. She had a charisma I always dreamed of possessing, a charisma I always envied about Jisoo as well. Now that I got a glimpse of what Jisoo's life looked like now, what people she surrounded herself with, she felt more distant than ever.

"Chae, safe me from this maniac!" Jennie screamed as she ran towards me, closely followed by Lisa. Completely ignoring my protest, the brunette used me as a human shield so that the Thai woman couldn't reach her.

"That's not fair, I got "breasts"." Lisa insisted, loud enough that quite a few people turned their heads towards us with curiosity on their faces.

"I don't care, I'm not letting you lick salt off of my tits!!" Jennie yelled back at her, even louder than the younger woman.
