Chaeyoung POV

"Wow, I never thought that graphic designers earn that much..." I mumbled to myself as I pulled up in front of J's house. It was a lovely neighbourhood, although a bit outside of the centre, I had to drive a good bit to get here. But it was worth it, the house made a cozy first impression. By no means a mansion, but more than enough for a young single woman like herself to enjoy her freedom.

Good for her.

As I rang the doorbell, the knot of excitement in my stomach was more present than ever. I could already feel the buzz on my way here in the car, but now that I was actually at her place, the feeling was so much more intense.

Wait, what is it exactly that I'm feeling? We're just having a few drinks, what am I expecting?

Well, as much as I would've loved to indulge in deep conversations with myself about my emotional state, the door that was being opened to reveal a stunningly gorgeous, black and blonde haired woman, who's piercing blue eyes smiled at me.

"Chaeyoung!" Like an old friend I've known for years, the slightly taller woman greeted me with a warm hug and basically pulled me into her house, as if she couldn't wait just as much as I couldn't. "Please, feel at home. I hope my request wasn't too sudden."

"Oh god no, it's fine. If it wasn't for you, I would've just lingered around on my couch. Your invitation gave me something to look forward to over the week." I reassured her as she guided me through the hallway into the living room and let my eyes wander over the interior. It was a fairly simple decoration, not too much stuff that would clutter the place. A few paintings and family pictures on the wall, the occasional flower here and there, but that was about it. Overall, the place was very neatly organised and clean, very much unlike my own apartment, but I tried to ignore that fact. "You have a really nice house. I like your style."

The younger woman smiled widely at my compliment, showing off her flawless teeth. "Oh. My. God. Rosé from Blackpink just complimented my style, I'm fangirling so hard right now~"

"Yeah... yeah, something like that." Was it really necessary to drag my past into this now? Apparently, she noticed the shift in my mood as well, as the smile disappeared from her face just as much as it came.

"I'm... I'm sorry, that was unnecessary... it just slipped out."

Come on Chaeyoung, you're a grown up woman. You should be able to talk about your past without bursting out in tears.

"Oh no, don't worry about it." Not wanting J to be sad, I warmly smiled at her and embraced her in a warm hug. "Remember our night together? I complimented your body for hours~" I whispered into the woman's ear and luckily, my attempts to cheer her up were successful, for her lips were quick to return to her previous smile. She was a person that smiled a lot in general and whether is was because of my presence or if she was just a general sunny girl, I wasn't able to judge, but I knew that it was hella attractive.

"Miss Park, you're not wasting any time, are you? And I haven't even poured you your first drink yet~"

"Right, what a terrible host you are~"

"Heyyy! Don't be so mean, I didn't even had the chance to do so..." J whined and playfully slapped my arm, causing me to chuckle while I made a mental note that she seemingly was very easy to tease and that I definitely would have to take advantage of that fact. "So... What.. What would you like to drink?"

"For starters, I'd like some coke please~"

"Chaeyoung!" She looked at me with her mouth wide open, leaving me hella confused as to what I said now. "I said we can have a drink, not do hard drugs."

It took my brain a good ten seconds to get the joke. But when it did, I couldn't help but laugh at how stupid her joke was. It was so stupid that it was already funny again. "Okay, you got me for a second hahaha~"
