And You Let Them Get Away! Emihle shouts so loudly that l can even hear her clearly over the music.

What was l supposed to do, let them see me? Wasnt the whole point of us doing this to make sure were not spotted? I ask them referring to the sneaking around and changing of outfits.

No, it was to make sure you deleted that incriminating message no matter what it took and that included us being spotted, Carmen fires back.

I bet you were too distracted watching Michael shoving his tongue down another girls throat, Raven adds on and l furiously turn to her scoffing.

Your one to talk, we leave you with her for five minutes and somehow you manage to get her drunk, l tell her pointing in Megans direction who seems to be bickering with the floor. I swear she has spoken more in these past few minutes than l have heard her since we met. The rest of my friends nod in agreement.

Its not my fault, l am not her babysitter, she continues standing her ground as if that justifies her actions, and l was trying to help her to get her out of her shell because she was clearly freaking out which was in turn making me freak-out and so l gave her a drink to help her calm down, she says referring to the first bottle she took from Jessica. I am using the words first because somehow again she managed to get a whole entire bottle from someone which she is currently nursing right now.

Are we really going to let one single misstep reunion our whole mission? If so then the first and second world war would have been lost! Out of nowhere Megan suddenly starts preaching to us. Making her way over, she stands at attention.

Soldiers! She shouts even louder startling me. Gather your weapons and off to battle we march, besides now that we already know where they are going we have a higher chance of succeeding she adds.

Dismissed! she shouts again and stops standing at attention. Jessica dont hog the bottle, sharing is caring, she tells her with her hand stretched out, taking a step forward in her direction ready to receive but Carmen stops her.

No, I think youve had enough.

Noooo! She wails, I have never felt like this in my entire life, so alive? Now l understand why Jessica does it all the time- its so freeing.

Raven takes out the bottle she has in her bag handing it over to Megan who gladly take it and she takes three huge galps and l throw Raven a questioning glare.

What? You guys can all see that it is helping her and she is even coming up with sensible ideas. She makes a fair point, one we cannot argue with.

Shit, Raven swears glancing down at my phone, the uber driver has been waiting for three minutes. We better go before the price increases.

And into the car we go, same sitting arrangement as before. As the car cruses through the street, Megan who is sited on top of me rolls down the window. She sticks her head out, enjoying the night breeze, with the wind blowing her hair in different directions.

Awwwhoo, she howls out loud, laughing at the same time.

Ow My Gosh! Its a full moon, Jessica who is sited by the other window squeals unable to hold back her excitement and laugher. She too rolling down the window, joins Megan in her escapade.

Emihle tries telling them to calm down but its as if that encourages them to howl even louder. Giving up she focuses her attention back to the front, but l spot a small smile on her face.

With some of my friends screaming at the top of their lungs having the time of their lives; the view of the buildings as we pass by and the their lights; with the moon shining bright above but most importantly being here with my friends l cannot help but also smile. At this point in time there is nowhere else l would rather be than here in this moment with them.
