Part 11

She hugged Cheryl before the girls went back to bed. The next day Betty woke up alone in Veronica's room and got dressed before going to the living room

Veronica- "hey Be! Sorry we didn't wake you but Cheryl said you were up late last night so we thought you should rest"

Betty- "thanks, I did really need it"

She went over and joined them on the couches

Cheryl- "we wanted to wait Betty, but Toni and I have to get going"

Betty- "oh okay, will we see you guys at school?"

Cheryl- "oh shit, we didn't tell her"

Toni- "for some reason Weatherbee gave the seniors the week off, so we'll see you then"

Betty- "okay, love you guys"

Toni- "love you too"

They hugged the girls before leaving the apartment

Veronica- (smiles) "go text him"

Betty- "what?"

Veronica- "go. Text. Him. I know you want to hang out with him"

Betty- "are you sure? I feel bad leaving you"

Veronica- "I'll invite Reggie over, go text him"

Betty- "thanks Ve, you're the best"

She texted Jughead to pick her up before going to pack her things

Veronica- "so Cheryl enlightened Toni and I about your conversation last night"

Betty- "oh god, how much did she say"

Veronica- (laughs) "it's nothing to be embarrassed about Be, it's normal"

Betty- "but not for me, I never thought about Archie like that"

Veronica- "that's because you were never in love with him, you like Jughead"

Betty- "I do, but we haven't-"

Veronica- "I know that you haven't known each other that long but haven't you ever heard of love at first sight?"

Betty- "you know I don't believe in that"

Veronica- "well, maybe you should"

Betty smirked at her before grabbing her bag and waiting in the living room until Jughead got there

Betty- "he's outside, I see you next week?"

Veronica- (smiles) "definitely"

She left the apartment and found Jughead waiting outside

Betty- "Juggie!"

She jumped into his arms before planting a kiss on his lips

Jughead- (chuckles) "I'm glad to see you too"

Betty- (smiles) "let's go home"

He took her bag from her snd took her hand as they walked home

Jughead- "were you able to sleep after our conversation?"

Betty- "definitely, I guess I didn't like being away from you"

Jughead- "I slept on the couch, I just didn't feel right alone in the bed"

Betty- "Aw Jug"

She kissed his cheek before holding on tightly to his arm

Betty- "good news, I don't have school this week so we can do whatever we want"

Jughead- (chuckles) "can't wait!"

He kissed her forehead before they arrived back at the apartment
