Jughead looked at her and realized what she was thinking
Jughead- "oh Betts, I didn't mean today"
Betty- "why not though? Don't you want our parents off our backs?"
Jughead- "but do you know what they'll start bugging us about"
Betty- "my mom cares about the Cooper reputation, if she wants me to graduate with a kid inside me then it's on her"
Jughead- "are you sure?"
Betty- "we don't need our parents permission, we just need each other and a couple witnesses"
Jughead- "well.. I guess we could"
Betty- "c'mon Jug, why don't we just get it over with"
Jughead- "wow what a fun way to talk about our wedding"
Betty- "you know what I mean, what do you say?"
Jughead- (sighs) "fine, let's go"
Betty- (smirks) "we have to make a few stops first"
Jughead scrunched his eyebrows before she started pulling him towards the door
Jughead- (chuckles) "okay okay, I'm coming"
They walked to the Pembroke and picked Veronica up
Veronica- "okay now that we're outside can you please tell me what's so important?"
Betty- "we'll tell you right after we I make a quick run to Thornhill, Jug can you Take Ve to Pop's and I'll tell you when we're ready"
Veronica- "oh no, I'm coming with you. He'll be fine on his own"
Betty- "you're right actually, I do need you. Will you be okay?"
Jughead- "I'll be fine, but text me when you're ready"
He kissed her cheek before the girls started walking to Thornhill
Cheryl- "Betty? Veronica? What are you doing here?!"
She hugged both of them before inviting them in
Betty- (giggles) "Hey Cher"
Veronica- "okay now will you tell me what's going on"
Betty- "first, I have a question for Cheryl"
Cheryl- "sure, what's up"
Betty- "do you have any white summer dresses that I could borrow?"
Veronica stared at her as Betty giggled"
Cheryl- "Betty Cooper, are you getting married?"
Betty- "we have to meet Jughead in an hour, at the courthouse"
Toni- "did I hear that right?"
Betty- "welcome to my thirty minute bachelorette party!"
Cheryl- "well we have to at least get you ready"
Veronica- "Toni, you're on dress duty, Cher you've got hair and I'll take makeup"
Betty- "it's not that big, Jug and I are only doing it because of my mom"
Veronica- "it's still your wedding, you deserve to look nice Be"
Betty- "I don't really, but I'm giving you guys all of the control"
Veronica- "this is the best honour ever!"
Betty- "enjoy it because it's probably never happening again"
Cheryl- "what about your baby shower? We could make you look amazing"
Betty- "ha ha, very funny. That's not for a long time"
Veronica- "but it is happening?!"
Betty- (smiles) "I-I think so, but not on our parents terms. Jughead and I haven't really talked about it yet"
Toni- "we don't have to talk about that right now"
Betty- "Toni's right, can we just get started?"
Veronica- "of course we can"
Veronica took Betty's hand as they went upstairs. Cheryl and Veronica sat Betty down at Cheryl's vanity as Toni ducked into the closet
Cheryl- "I can't believe we're getting you ready to get married"
Betty- "that makes all of us I think"
Veronica- "we support you Betty, I hope you know that"
Betty- (smiles) "I do, I honestly do"
They spent almost the full half hour getting her ready. Toni found a short white dress with lace sleeves as Cheryl curled her hair and found a pink and white flower crown
Betty- (in tears) "t-thank you guys, this is amazing"
Veronica- (sniffs) "aw Be don't cry, you're gonna make me cry"
They hugged each as Cheryl and Toni looked at them
Cheryl- (smiles) "c'mon Betty, let's go get you married"
