You lean against Soap as you watch the scenery pass you by. He has one arm wrapped around you while talking to Ghost in the front seat.
The trees fly by as the sun sets. The movement of the car along with the warmth from Soap begins to lull you to sleep, but soon the car stops, rousing you from your near slumber.
Ghost parks the car and get out, making his way to the trunk. You sit up off of Soap so he can do the same. You get out of the car and follow.
"Think this is gonna be difficult, LT?" Soap says as he sorts out his tactical vest.
"Just one USB, how hard can it be?" Ghost responds as he straps on his vest.
"You'd be surprised with this chick," you scoff and dig out your vest.
"Really now? And how would ya know?" Soap looks to you then packs extra ammo into his pocket.
"Started working with her when I was 17, but I thought you already knew that," you say to Soap then pick up a pistol and pack it into your vest.
"Yeah, but I thought ya said that she only liked to work with small groups," Soap stands back as Ghost goes to close the trunk.
"C has been hiring more people, how else would've y/n gotten kidnapped in the first place," Ghost says slamming the trunk and locking the car. You nod in agreement.

Walking up to the addressed building, you find that it is a small house standing alone in a clearing of trees.
You three walk up to the building cautiously. Soap splits off from you two and quickly makes his way to the back door.
The siding is old and worn and the windows look grimy. As you and Ghost step up on to the porch, you can hear is creak and bend slightly under the weight of you two. You open the rusty storm door, allowing Ghost to take the front door in hand. He looks to you then quickly opens the front door to and dead living room covered in a layer of dust, in fact the whole house seemed to be covered in a layer of dust.
You look to Ghost and lower you gun until you hear a door slam open, prompting both you and Ghost to raise your weapon and point them in the direction of the noise in wait of the culprit.
Luckily all that walks out of the kitchen is Soap.
"Jesus, seems to have been abandoned for years," Soap says then spotting the startled look on your face, "sorry about that, bunny," his smile creeps across his face.
"Keep focused, MacTavish," Ghost interrupts Soap's humor, "let's get upstairs,"
Making your way upstairs, you find the weak floor boards more terrifying than the possibility of another person being in the house with you all.
You make your way through the bedrooms and closets with the occasional call of "clear!".
You make your way to the last bedroom alone with Ghost and Soap somewhere else on the floor. With your gun at the ready, you step into the room. You check from side to side to see if you find somebody. When you don't see a sign of life, you lower your gun and walk over to the untouched desk in hopes of finding something.
You begin to rummage through the drawers when suddenly an arms is wrapped around your neck, constricting your breathing. You struggle to break free as you loose oxygen and the ability to call for help.
You begin to pass out, then Soap bursts through the door, forcing the man to drop you to the ground, leaving you gasping for air.
Soap quickly shoots him in the neck, the man's body drops limp to the ground next to you as you look up at Soap. He's about to speak, but a loud door slamming from downstairs catches his attention before he can. You can hear the heavy footsteps of Ghost bounding down the stairs. Soap helps you to your feet then follows Ghost downstairs as well.
You weakly make your way to the hallway, then begin to regain your strength while briskly walking down the stairs.
You catch up to them just in time to see Ghost wrestle a man to the ground while you're still trying to catch your breath. You look at the man Ghost has pinned to the ground, he looks young, too young for this job.

Ghost and Soap tie him to the railing of the stairs before questioning him.
Soap holds him at gunpoint while Ghost starts the questioning; questions like why he's here, who employed him, and how he got into this.
You but I'm with your own question
"How old are you?" You sound almost worried to ask this from your own experience with C.
"16" the kid responds.

You nearly stop in your tracks, knowing what C is truly doing now. Your villain is employing teenagers to work for her, teaching them from a young age.
The kid look scared, and you can't blame him.
"Have you ever met C?" You ask now truly concerned for him.
"No- they only communicate through messages, but they care for me. I-"
He sound passionate, but you cut him off.
"They're using you, get out while you still can." You say to him. The kid looks shocked, you're not sure if they took your words to heart, but you can tell that they won't be going back to C.

"Y/n, I'll stay with the kid, you and Soap go check out the basement" Ghost orders.
"On it, LT" Soap responds as he starts to make his way to the basement door.
You nod your head in response, but still look worried, mainly for the young man you just met.

You meet up with Soap on his way down the stairs. As you both go down, you notice the dingy and dark house turns into a more modern room, fixed with over head LED lights and a tower connected to two monitors.
"This is sketchy-" Soap looks nearly surprised by the discovery.
You see the computer and start making your way to the monitors, "I'll look for the USB."

You walk up to the monitors. One shows a live feed from security cameras around the house, you notice that there is another page of cameras, but they're passcode protected. The other monitor shows a data log from other computers that happen to also be passcode protected.
You also notice a USB drive that is sticking out of the tower. You grab it and pocket it. As you take the USB out, the tabs close.

"Soap, I think I found the USB"

"Great, let's get out of here, y/n" Soap looks ready to leave.

You both return to the surface to meet up with Ghost.
"What should we do with the kid?" Soap asks.
"We should take him with us, he could be useful" Ghost looks ready to leave as well.
You nod your head as you help Ghost untie him and take him out to the car.
