Mayas POV

You have to win her back. Those are the words amelia said to me a week ago at dinner, her words are constantly ringing through my head. Show her you care, show her you want her as much as she wants you.

My phone rings, "Bishop" I say answering, it's the station phone. "It's Vic. Everything is set up." I'm so relieved to have her, she's been a saving grace in my relationship, always telling me how it is. "Okay, and what about.." I start but she cuts me off. "Everything is covered. Travis and I are gonna be over at like 8" she says. "Sounds good, thank you Vic." I say, smiling. "Go get 'em, tiger." She replies before hanging up.

I jog over to the hospital from our house, it's only about a half hour run. I knock on her office door, "Come in." She replies. I walk in and smile at her, she looks so beautiful. "Hi" I say, walking over to her desk. "Maya what are you doing here?" She replies, continuing to do her paperwork at her desk. "You're off at 7, right?" I say, taking the heavy backpack off my shoulders. She nods, "Sí".

I hand her the bag, "put this on after your shift, I'll be here at 8." I say. "What is this?" She says, opening the bag. "It's an outfit. For our date tonight." I reply, watching as she pulls out the top and the pants. "It's the same one you wore when I met you for the first time, after your shift, at joes. I love you carina. I don't want to lose this.. our love. I... let me win you back." I say, stumbling over my words. I start to walk out, "Maya, wait.." she starts.

I cut her off, turning around with a smile, "8pm. Don't be late." I say, before walking out of her office.

Carinas POV

I can't wipe the stupid smile painted across my face. She's my wife, I shouldn't feel this nervous to go on a date with her. This outfit. She's something else.

The rest of my day is quick, thank god. I'm so excited for this date, whatever it might entail. I start getting ready, noticing my pants and shirt are a little tighter than they were that night. I am pregnant, after all, and I did have a baby. I'm not upset, I know the female body very well. And Maya loves my body, no matter what. Always kissing each stretch mark and scar.

I'm putting my makeup on when I'm interrupted by a knock on the door. "It's only 7:45 you're very early" I yell, walking to the door and opening it. "DeLuca!" Amelia says, smirking. "Where are you going looking that hot?" She asks, looking me up and down. "A date. With maya." I reply, smiling.

She laughs at how hard I'm smiling, "it's like I have a crush on her" I reply, laughing with her. She discusses a patient with me while I finish my makeup and hair. I tell her my opinion quickly. "Amelia, I love you, but you gotta leave. My wife will be here any second." I reply, "okay delucs, have some fun hot sex with your wife for me." She says as she leaves, "amelia that's disgusting" I reply, packing my makeup back into the bag along with my scrubs.

I put some earrings in, and right when I'm done I hear a knock at the door. I straighten my jacket before opening it. My eyes immediate go to the jacket. It's that jacket, the bomber jacket. "Like what you're seeing, DeLuca?" She says, before handing me flowers. "These are gorgeous bella" I say, smiling. "Who's Bella?" She asks, referring to our first date when she asked me that. I laugh, rolling my eyes before heading out with her.

We get in her car, it smells like it always does. So. Clean. "Now, I was going to take you to joes, but that wouldn't be fun because we can't drink." She says, placing one hand on my growing stomach. My bump was small with Andrea, and it's small now. Noticeable if you're looking for it, but still small.

"That reminds me, we have an appointment tomorrow. Do you want to know the sex?" I say, knowing I'll know regardless by looking at the scan. "Yeah" Maya says, smiling, "I do." She adds.

She pulls her car over in front of a restaurant, it looks wonderful. She walks around the car, opening the door for me and helping me out. "Two for Bishop" Maya tells the hostess, who escorts us to our seats. It's a small booth in the back of the restaurant, where there's already flowers, food, and drinks waiting for us.

My eyes begin to tear up at the sight, she's so thoughtful. "I knew you'd be hungry after work, and.." she starts but I cut her off. "This is beautiful, Bambina. Thank you." I say, kissing her hand.

We eat and talk, sometimes keeping up with the 'first date' playful banter, sometimes getting more deep. She pays the bill and walks out with my hand in hand. I start walking towards the car, but she pulls me away, "not yet, deluca" she says.

We walk down dimly lit streets, past cute storefronts busy with people. She moves a little off the trail, walking with me on a small path in the wooded area nearby. "If you weren't my wife, I'd think I was being kidnapped." I say, laughing. She smiles, keeping up the pace.

We reach an opening, a rocky cliff over a large lake. There's a blanket set out, the area is lit with string lights, soft Italian music playing, and there's a basket in the middle. It's beautiful. "Maya" I say, tearing up again. She turns to face me, wiping the tears off my cheeks. "No crying, my love" she says smiling.

We sit down, her jacket wrapped around me, her arms holding me tight. She reaches into the basket, grabbing some chocolate covered strawberries. "My love, how did you know I've been craving these." I say, smiling as she opens the box. "It's almost like I've met a pregnant carina before." She replies, kissing my cheek.

We take turns feeding each other, this feels like young love. I rest my head on her shoulder, a soft breeze passing by and the sounds of my favorite Italian artists fill my ears. She holds me tight, our hands interlocking. "I love you, Carina. I'm sorry for hurting you. You never deserve anything but love, and affection, and I'm sorry I didn't show you that." She says, I pick my head up, our eyes meeting. She places a hand on the side of my face, looking down at my lips and back to my eyes.

I lean in, our lips meeting. Of course we've hooked up since we've been fighting, but we haven't kissed like this. It was a passionate kiss, one that says more than words can. "I love you, Maya Bishop." I say, before leaning in and kissing her again.
