"I'm sorry!" I say. He slaps me round the face
"Even speaking their language!" He says
"Мне жаль Земо! " (I am sorry Zemo!) I start to cry
"You've gone soft Soldier! I can't have you being soft now can I?" Zemo says
"Загрузите ее в машину и приготовьте новые инъекции. " (Load her into the machine, and get the new injections ready) he says to one of the officers, he nods then leaves
"No, no! Please no! I'm sorry! I will kill all of them! Just please not this! Please I'm begging you!" I shout, tears pouring down my face.
I get taken to the machine room, and forced into the chair. The machine is pressed against my face and I start screaming. I feel a strong shake, I don't remember this, what is going on?
"Alice! Alice wake up, come on Alice please wake up!" I hear a voice then I suddenly sit up in my bed. It was Bucky. I lean into his chest and start to cry
"Shh, it was just a nightmare, you're OK, you're OK doll" he whispers whilst rocking me gently
"James, James please stay" I say through tears
"Of course, I'll never leave you, I'll keep you safe" he says
I look into Bucky's eyes and stop crying
"Bucky what is happening to me?" I whisper
"I'm not sure how to explain it, it's basically trauma" he says
"But I'm still a part of Hydra Buck, how is this happening to me if I'm just not there" I say
"Because you trust us doll, because you have finally made friends" he replies
I sit on my bed, just staring out the window at all the lights
"Do you want to talk about what happened?" He asks
I hesitate, but nod
"Hydra took me back I think, and Zemo was shouting at me for being an Avenger, even though I'm not. He-he slapped me and told one of the officers to get the mind wipe machine ready. B-but after that he also said to prepare the injections, which means he has a new experiment he wants to try on me. When I went into the machine room I was forced onto the chair and they put the machine on me, then you woke me up" I say and a tear drops down my face. Bucky wipes it away and pulls me into a hug.
What is happening to me? Surely I'm still with Hydra? I don't like these people right? I have to finish the mission.
"Can you stay here the night?" I ask
"Yes doll, come on let's get you back to sleep" he gets up and I get comfortable
"Where are you going?" I say
"I'm going to sleep on the couch" he replies
"No, can you stay next to me? Please" I ask
"Alright doll" he says
I move over and he lays down next to me. I rest my head on his chest and I drift off to sleep.
