Hydra's Murderer

Packing

I go to my room to pack for the upcoming mission. However I get lost in my thoughts
"What is happening to me?" I say whilst stuffing clothes into my bag
"I am Hydra's best assassin, and yet I've got a boyfriend and friends here, and I'm going on a mission to take down the main base of an organisation I'm part of" I sit on my bed
"What am I going to do?" I say to myself
"I have to finish the mission, I'll do it at the base" I decide.

When I finish packing, I see I have an hour till dinner. I decide to go down to do some training. I walk down to the gym and grab some tape for my hands, I go over to the punching bag and start.
Left, right, left, right, right, left, kick
I repeat it over and over again until my hands feel bruised and sore. I realised that it probably wasn't the best thing to do the day before the mission. I have 10 minutes till dinner, so I quickly run up stairs to Bruce's lab. I'm not supposed to be there, so I turn invisible and open the cupboard to look for some cream. I find it then quickly walk out of the lab and go up to my room. I get changed out of my gym clothes and put on some black leggings and a grey jumper. I apply the cream to my beaten knuckles and hide it in my bedside drawer to return later. I walk down to the kitchen to make dinner to bring to Bucky, Wanda and Natasha- the others have gone out so its just us. I make some chicken with salad, croutons and cesear dressing. I drop dinner off at Nat's and Wanda's first, then go to Bucky.

I knock on the door and when I don't hear a response, I open the door and walk in. I find him on the floor, knees slightly too his chest and his head in his hands.
"Buck I made you-" I see his red-rimmed eyes and immediately go over to him, putting the two plates on the table
"Sweetheart what's wrong?" I ask
He continues to stare at the wall
"Buck?" I say, giving him a gentle shake "James answer me, please you're scaring me" I shake him more. Suddenly he snaps back to his senses and looks at me.

"Why are you crying?" I say softly, wiping away a tear with my thumb. He puts his head on my shoulders and breaths deeply
"Sweetheart come on, what's the matter? It won't do you any good hiding it" I stroke his hair and he sits up
"I just got you back, and now we are going on a mission back to the place you came from, and they will want you back" he looks at the floor
"Oh Buck" I say
"I can't loose you again Alice" he looks at me
"You won't loose me, I know you will protect me. I love you Buck and I will never leave you" I say
"I know, I'm being stupid" he says
"Hey, hey. No you're not, you are being a normal human being, and it's good that you care about others" I grab his hand
"How could I not care about you? I love you Alice" he smiles
"There's that smile! Now come on, dinner will be cold soon" I kiss him on the lips and grab the plates.

"You made this?" He asks through mouthfuls
"Yeah" I reply
"How?" He says
"Turns out Jarvis is a very good chef" I laugh
"Hey Jarvis! Amazing dinner" he says
"Thank you Mr Barnes" the AI replies
We finish dinner then lay down on his bed, and turn on Netflix
"Wait Bucky! I wanna watch Lord of the rings!" I grab the controller and turn it onto Now TV
"They have it on here? I love those films!" He says
"Which one?" I ask
"Is that even a question? Two Towers obviously" he says and I laugh
We watch the film and I end up falling asleep on Bucky's lap after a bit.
