Hydra's Murderer

The first year

Why? Why did Bucky have to leave? Why did everyone I love have to leave? I haven't left my room in a month. And I refuse to see anyone. Apart from today. Today I'm going to leave my room. I go to my wardrobe and change into black joggers and a grey top. I brush my knotty hair and I grab my duffel bag. I walk slowly to the gym.

"Hey Alice" Nat says whilst punching a bag
I ignore her and punch a bag far away from her. I let out all my anger. I punch it again and again and again till I feel blood. I ignore it and carry on- not caring about the pain. My hand is raw with blood. My vibranium arm feels nothing however. I punch for what feels like hours, till I feel a hand grab my shoulder and pull me away
"Alice stop!" Nat says
I push her away and carry on punching. After a minute she tries again
"Alice you can't hide your anger and sorrow by locking yourself away or punching the shit out of a punching bag" She says
I huff and carry on
"Alice stop" I hear Steve say as he grabs my arm. I stop and turn around, giving him a death stare
"Don't look at me like that, we are just trying to help" he says
"I don't want your help" I say
"Doesn't matter. Look there is someone in your bedroom waiting for you. I suggest you go see them" Steve says
I force his grip off of me and walk out, leaving my duffel bag. I walk to my bedroom.

When I open the door I see a lady sat on my chair
"Ah, Alice. Nice to meet you" She says
"Can't say the same" I reply
"My name is Doctor Raynor" she says
"I don't need a doctor" I say
"I'm a therapist" Raynor says
"I don't need therapy either" I reply
"Your friends say otherwise- haven't left your room in a month, ignoring everyone, loosing Bucky" She says
I look at her when she says his name
"I was Bucky's therapist" Raynor explains
"I can't be fixed. They tried" I say
"Sit down and we can talk about this" Raynor says and gestures to the chair infront of her. I huff and sit down
"So I hear you were with Hydra. What was that like?" She asks
"Wow, way to start the conversation Doc" I roll my eyes
"I need to know more about you to see if I can help" she says
"Fine. But don't think that in anyway I enjoy this" I say
"Go ahead"
"I was captured with Bucky in the 1940's, used on some missions then put in the ice for 70 years. Bucky was sent on more missions and I had to train 8 hours everyday for 7 years, undergoing a few experiments that didn't work. One day Bucky never came back from a mission so they grabbed me and tested on me. The experiment worked and I got the mission to kill Tony Stark. I did it then I got another mission to kill all the Avengers. I tried to, I got captured but Hydra took me back one night and punished me and they put a chip in my brain to control me. They put me back and Bruce helped me. After that Bucky took me to Wakanda to ry fix me and then Thanos happened. You happy?" I say
"Nearly" She replies
"How do you feel?" She asks
"Stupid question" is all I say
"How do you feel?" Raynor tries again
"Nothing" I reply
She sighs and pulls out a red notebook
"What the hell is that for" I say
"You don't talk, I write" She replies
I roll my eyes.

*Time skip 2 months*
"Alice, you are needed in the meeting room" Jarvis says
"I'm not going" I reply
"Miss, I'm afraid you don't have a choice" it replies
I sigh and close my notebook Raynor gave to me. I turn into the wolf and walk to the meeting room. The doors open and I see the remaining Avengers sat around the table. I walk past the table and sit on the sofa instead.
"We found the final Hydra base" Steve announces
"The plan is that Alice and Yelena will go there and take it down, whilst Nat and Sam keep look out" he says
Who the hell is Yelena? After 5 minutes of boring talk someone sits next to me on the sofa. I look over to see a girl with long blonde wavy hair, smiling at me
"I'm Yelena" She says in a Russian accent
"Yelena Romanoff" She continues, she puts forward her hand for me to shake
"Alice Barnes" I ignore her hand and stand up to leave
"Nice meeting you!" She says
I sigh quietly and walk to my room to pack my bags.

*Time skip 1 week*
I'm on the quin jet with Yelena, Nat and Sam, flying to the base. We arrive and me and Yelena break into the base. We first run to the cells, taking out any Agents that get in the way. There are too many for us to handle
"Alice go! I will keep them busy" she shouts
I turn invisible and run towards the cell area. I stop when I see the file room. Seeing that it is empty I break down the door and steal as much as I can- files on the experiments, future plans etc. I run out of the room and quickly get to the cell area. I look around only to see all were empty apart one. There was a small girl in the end cell, her long black wavy hair with a few blue streaks covering her face. I run over and break the lock.
"Hey kid! Come on I'm here to help you" I offer my hand. She looks at me, emotionless and takes my hand. I pull her up and we run. I see Yelena at the Quin Jet and we climb on. I sit the girl on a seat and check her over as best as I can. After a bit of checking I walk over to Yelena
"Who is she?" She asks me
"I have no idea, she was the only one in the cell area" I reply
I look over to see her asleep. I grab a blanket and cover her with it.

*back at the compound*
I'm carrying the girl in to the tower, she is still asleep
"Jarvis, where is Banner?" I ask
"In the lab" it replies
"Tell him I have an emergency" I reply
I quickly go to the lab and knock on the door. It opens and I quickly lay the girl on the bed
"I need you to run some tests and see if she is okay Bruce" I say
"On it" he replies
I walk out and go to the vehicle area. I get into a black Mercedes and drive to the nearest shops.

I go in and buy some new clothes for the girl. She looks in her teens so I get her age 14 and 15 clothing. After half an hour I get a call from Bruce saying she is awake. I say that I will be there in 10 minutes. I drive back and bring the bag of clothes to her. I open the door to see her sat up in a chair, reading a book. When she hears me she looks up
"You are the girl who saved me" She says
I nod
"Thank you" the girl says
"No need, just doing my job, my name is Alice. Do you know your name?" I ask
"I.. I think it is Willow" she says
"Well Willow, I'm here to help you. I can show you to your room now, if you like" I smile slightly
She nods and stands up. "There is an empty room next to mine that you can have" I say
We walk to the room and open the door. I walk in and I see her looking around. I empty the bag of clothes onto the bed
"I just went shopping for you, I hope these fit" I say
I hand her some clothes and she goes to change in the bathroom. I hang up her other clothes in the wardrobe. She comes back out 5 minutes later
"Why did you help me?" Willow asks
"Well, because I know what you are going through" I say
We sit down on the bed
"You were with Hydra?" She asks
"Yep, but here I was helped. I found a new family, and I want to help someone like me" I reply
"Were you tested on?" Willow asks
"I was" I take off my jacket and hat. She stands up to have a look
"How about you? If you don't mind me asking" I say
"I was, when I was 8 years old. I actually don't mind it to be honest" She says
"What can you do?" I ask
"It gave me enhanced intelligence, along with other things such as manipulation of metal and illusions" She says
"Thats cool!" I say
"Yeah, although it does effect me a little" Willow looks at her arm and runs a finger along the side of her face
"What do you mean?"
She closes her eyes and suddenly her arm and part of face she was touching starts to glitch
"Strange. But nothing I haven't seen before, I sometimes glitch aswell. Anyway, how's about we introduce you to the others?" I propose
"Okay" She replies
We walk to the common room, and just before we walk in Willow grabs my hand
"It's okay, just relax" I smile
We walk in and everyone looks at us
"Oh my goodness, has Beast Girl left her room?" Nat says
"Beast Girl? Seriously?" I raise my eyebrow at her
"Who is the kid?" Steve asks
"Guys, this is Willow" I say
She waves shyly
"Nice to meet you Willow" Sam says and the others nod
"Anyway what is for dinner? I am starving" I say
"We can order pizza?" Bruce says
"Yes! Order it now!" Yelena says.
