A few weeks later
"Logan, I'm home!" Rory called out when she got home from work "hi Hershey" she bent down and pet Hershey, who had run up to her "Logan?"
"Nursery!"
"Why are you in the nursery?" Rory asked, walking into the nursery
"the rug came today. I was just setting it up. Hi" he kissed Rory
"That's it, then" Rory said "the nursery's finished"
"Except the sign with her name"
"Right" Rory put her hand on her stomach
"You ok?"
"Yeah" Rory grabbed Logan's hand and put it on her stomach "she's kicking"
"I still think that's really cool"
"I'm sure it's cool when it's not your bladder that she's using as punching bag" Rory joked "so how was work?"
"About that..."
"What?"
"You know that other company were trying to buy?"
"The one in Florida?"
"Yeah. So, they want to sit down with us to talk terms, which means that one of us has to fly down there for a couple of days. And it's technically my job"
"Oh"
"But I told them that I might not be able to go. That you're pregnant and I don't wanna leave you alone for 3 days. But there isn't really anyone else who can go so I said that I'd talk to you about it"
"Logan, I'm an adult, I can take care of myself"
"I know" Logan rubbed her shoulder "but I'm worried. What if something happens?"
"Nothings gonna happen"
"You don't know that"
"You're right, but I'll say it again, I'm an adult and can handle myself"
"Are you sure?"
"Better now than a few weeks from now"
"Are you sure, you're sure?"
"Yes"
"Then, I'll probably be leaving on Monday morning and be back sometime on Thursday"
"Ok"
"And I'm not kidding, you say the word and I'm on the next flight home, work be dammed"
"Ok" Rory chuckled
Later that night, Rory and Logan were in bed. Logan has his arm around Rory with his hand on her stomach.
"How's Lena doing?" Logan asked
Rory put her hand over Logan's "she kicks when you touch my stomach"
"Really?"
"Yup. 2 minutes ago, before you put your hand there she was still"
"Doesn't that freak you out?"
"Oh yeah" Rory chuckled "but it's kinda cool"
"It's very cool" Logan kissed her cheek

A few days later Rory And Logan were at the airport
"You sure you're gonna be ok?" Logan asked
"I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself, Logan"
"I know that, but I'm still gonna worry" Logan said "and I'm gonna miss you"
