"You never let me join, why can't I? I feel so useless" I say to Preston as he declined my offer to join the mission.

"It's just The unfazed Preston, they're easy" one of his members said help  me out.

"What if they team up with other gangs? Anything is possible, we can't just expect the unexpected so I'm not risking a single thing" He said glaring at one of his members for giving me hope.

"Please Preston, just once, I want to see what it's like I want to see what's happening I can't just be here planning all the stuff you guy's do"

"Preston, just let her, we'll promise to protect her at all cost"one of the members said and all of them nodded.

Preston sighed.

"She should be your top and the first on your priority. Her life before yours. If something happens to her it's all your fault. Preston said

"We promise. She's like a sister to us we promise to protect her"

You stay close to me. And this is the only time you'll get to come" He said looking at me,

"Yay! Thank you" I say kissing his cheeks and leaving the room.

"Boys I'm serious about what I just said. Her life before us, she's not been a part in this Mafia world so please just make sure she doesn't get hurt.

After briefing them about what was going to happen, they've prepared themselves for tonight's mission. And Preston headed to the room to see me lying down on my phone.

"Is it time to go" I asked sitting up.

"Not yet.."

"Bri, I'm serious about everything I said. This Mafia world isn't just like the movies we watch. It could be 10 times worse because anything could happen.. you need to stay close to me no matter what happen"

"I promise I won't do anything stupid"

"I'm not worried about you doing anything but them the enemy's which I'm worried about

"Just follow what I say if anything goes wrong okay.. I don't want you to get dragged into a sticky situation this whole mission but since you want to do this so bad and this will be you very first and last mission you'll be participating to.

I removed my shirt and put the hoodie on. He stayed while watching me dress. After I got dressed. I noticed he looked worried, I made my way over to him and sat on his lap. causing him to wrap his arms around me.

"Promise me you'll save yourself if anything bad happens to us"

I nodded looking down

" Just remember I love you so much"

"I love you too"

"Stay close" Preston said as the seven of us made out way over to an abandoned building..

"Well Well look who we have here, never thought you guys will show up"

"We're not here to team up. We want proof that it wasn't one of your newbies who interfere with our mission that night"

"You injured my member and your asking for proof? Or what we kill one of your members?

"Your man's almost lost the lives and your threatening to kill mine's?"

"Should we kill the women then?" He joked

Preston pulled his gun out and pointed directly on his head. The other gang members raised their guns and also do the boys.

"Don't you touch her or you'll get it" Preston said with gritted teeth

"Or what"

Preston then pulled me behind him further away from the man and the boys surrounded me.

"Or I'll kill you and you little b!tches" Preston threatened.

Then out of no where *BANG*

"Think twice before coming to our place ruckus" He said as guns were being fired

Preston then pulled me in a room with windows and a table and pulled me down,

"Stay here" He said

"Alone? I don't have anything to protect myself" I said.

He took out a pistol and handed it to me.

Then the window shattered into pieces as if someone shot it

"Babe stay here"

He peeked and fired which cause the glass to fall in top of the table. I covered myself and closed my ears as I felt the noise were getting too loud.

I hear more gunshots fired outside, shooting as they trying to protect themselves,

"Fvck Preston said as he crouched almost getting hit.

The door bursted open and seems like it was open with force, before I knew it I was pulled hostage and a gun was being pointed at head. Peter the team leader. Aggressively pulled me up and locked me in his arms.

Preston quickly pointed his gun to him.

"PUT YOUR GUN DOWN OR I'LL KILL HER" He yelled causing me to flinch

"LET HER GO" Preston yelled

"ALL MY MENS ARE GONE, IF I LET HER GO, IM DEAD TOO" He yelled back

"PUT YOUR GUN DOWN NOW"  He yelled again

Preston slowly put his gun down as the others did to

"Hand her over we can talk it out, I won't kill you" Preston said

"How will I know if your telling the truth? You kill all my men's!"

Preston eyes traveled to Peter's back which was a possible exit. And he knew that all his members died But he still didn't want to risk a thing.

"Hand her over and we won't kill you, she's not part of this so leave her alone."

"You always had to be the one who kill my people. Now I want you precious one, I don't care if she di-" somebody fired the gun and he fell.

I dropped along with him, my knees couldn't hold me up and were practically shaking and tears couldn't stop flowing.

"Babe" Preston said rushing over to me and pulled me in his embrace.

"I'll get the car ready" his assistant said as someone informed the rest on what just happened and what to do.

"It's okay no one's coming for you, you're okay," He said as he hung low

I felt like I'm couldn't breathe and I didn't have the energy to lift my head up or stand. He carried me too the car in passed out halfway te journey home
