"Advice"

Brianna Pov

"It was Sunday and I was sitting a bench near a lake with a flower in my hand saying."He loves me he loves me not" I was counting down the flower petals and chanting the words. Who is he you may ask? Well he's my childhood friend and crush Preston. It's been almost 14 years. We met in daycare when we were 3 he was my first friend there so basically if you think about it were friend ever since diapers.

"He loves me" I said at the last petal making me smile. They say it's just a prediction, we can't be 100% sure in Everything. I sighed and  looked at the sun setting. "It's almost night time I should go home now." I said getting up and walked on the streets of downtown. "I'm home" I said as I entered the house.

"Bri you're back" my brother said showing up out of nowhere(Let's pretend bri has a sibling.) "Yes I'm back" I replied as I removed my shoes. "Come with me." He said and I followed him. "What's that?" I asked I saw a box full of chocolates and a small bouquet. "I bought it for you" He said smiling making me smile too. "Thanks bro I said and hugged him.

"Did you meet Preston today?" He asked and I answered by shaking my head. "Are you that coward? It's been a month since you you've been planning to confess why didn't you do it?" He scolded.

"I feel like it's just not the right time" I said. "Bri ask him to be yours before someone else does, don't wait for the right time, you have to make time for yourself. So just go and do it.' He said an di just took a breath and nodded."You're right but I'm just scared" I replied. "Scared? Scared of what... Rejection?, Sis you'll never know until you do it you'll never know maybe he also has a crush on you." He said.

"Not Rejection you Idiot, I'm scared that our friendship will break" I sighed. "Don't worry about that, he can't just leave you like that I mean if he did he'll just put 14 of his life spending with you in the garbage, so take my advice and confess before it gets too late." He said. "Since when you've been this mature?" I asked "Ever since you've been a coward" he stated. I left the room after the conversation and went to my bedroom. "Okay I'm gonna do it I'll confess to him tomorrow" I said to myself before walking to the bathroom to wash up and went straight to bed.
