The Alpha's Fiesty Mate!

Prologue

"I AM NOT GOING! YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!" I yelled at my mom.

"You are going and that’s final. Now pack your bags we leave in an hour." She replied back trying to stay calm.

"AND WHO IS GOING TO MAKE ME!!!!" I snapped back.

"I HAVE HAD IT! IF YOU DO NOT PACK YOUR BAGS AND GET THEM IN THE CAR!!!! I WILL HAVE YOUR BROTHER ORDER YOU TO! YOUR CHOICE!" That is the first time I have heard my mom yell since my father died.

*Flash back*

It all happened so fast everything was peaceful. The next thing I know there was rogues coming through the tree line. My father, the Alpha at the time, ordered me to go and hide. I felt wrong about doing it, but it was an order so I had no other choice.

While I was hiding I heard wolves snarling and growling. I couldn't tell who was winning because I was locked away in some cellar that no other wolves knew about. I liked to call it "My Secret Hideout". It was the one place I go when I want to get away from everything. I even had a journal down there.

It grew silent so I thought that maybe it was safe to leave. I crawled out and covered my little hide out with the dried leaf blanket I figured out how to make.

I started heading toward the front of the house. There was blood and bodies everywhere. I just stood there, I didn't know what to do. I heard leaves crumple behind me. I turn around to see if it was my family or someone from my pack.

When I was fully turned around, right in front of me was the biggest wolf I have ever seen. I didn't recognize the wolf. Then I figured it was a rogue.

Out of nowhere a big black wolf came and attacked the big rogue. I didn't know what to do so I ran like crazy. I ran so fast that I didn't know where I was going, until I ran into something hard.

I looked up and there stood another wolf. it was smaller than the black one. He went behind the tree and I took off in a different direction. I heard silent footfalls coming behind me and i knew i was in trouble.

Something grabbed me around the waist and I froze. There was nothing left for me to do. Whatever it was turned me around and lifted me into a hug. I felt tears coming down my face because I didn't know who it was.

"Lucy, thank god you are okay. We have been looking everywhere for you. Where Havre you been?" I recognized it was the worried tone of my brother.

"Toby I didn't know it was you please don't hate me for running from you." i said looking up at his face. i seen all the worry he had disappear and his lips turned into a smile.

"Sweetie I could never get mad at you. You are the only thing i live to protect." After he said that I seen a tear run down his face. Before I could as what was wrong there was a howl. It came from the direction of the house.

Toby let out a ear piecing howl and started running towards the house, me still in his arms.

"Toby! Whets wrong? Why are you going towards the howl. Toby! I don't want to die! I'm to young. Toby why aren't you answering me!" I yelled at him.

When we reached the house I seen a crowd of people crowding around something. Toby pushed through the crowd. I gasped when I seen what everyone was crowded around. My dad...

I wiggled out of Toby's arms and ran towards him. I couldn't see straight. My eyes full of tears.

I sat down by him and let the water works flow.

*End of Flashback*

That was the day I lost my father and the day Toby became Alpha.

I was only eight at the time, Toby was turning seventeen.

I got up and went to pack my bag. I just knew that the only reason I have to do this is for my dad. I think he would appreciate that I listen to my mom but sometimes its hard. Just thinking about him makes me want to burst into tears and run to the hills.

~~~ 30 minutes later ~~~

I had my bags in the car and was sitting in the passenger seat. My mom was telling Toby that we would only be gone for about six months, but I knew my mom and she will make sure that we found what she wanted me to find for years.

After a few minutes my mom finally came out and sat in the drivers seat.

"Okay, we are off." She said smiling.

I moaned and plugged in my head phones and turned the song 'Highway to Hell' on and started to sing along.

"Well you sound excited." My mom said.

"Yes! So excited!" I said sarcastically.

After about ten minutes of listening to BvB, BOTDF and Falling in Reverse, I let sleep take over.

***** three and a half hours later******

I wake to the sound of oldies playing. I think it is... I don't even know. Maybe something out of the eighties.

"Are we there yet?" I ask impatiently.

"Yes sweetie. We are about ten minutes away."

"Thank god!"

I looked out the window. There was no woods or anything, just building after building.

"Umm... mom where are all the woods." I asked not knowing.

"Sweetie about that... look we are here."

'She thinks that I will just ignore that.' My wolf growled.

'It's okay don't worry. We will have woods. We will have to find that tomorrow okay after school.' I told her honestly.

"Lucy get in here and get ready for bed." She yelled from the apartment. Oh, I forgot to mention I now live in a damn apartment.

"Why are we living here. Isn't there a pack house, near the woods."

"I'm sorry but this is the best we can do until we meet with them." She said walking out of the house. "Now will you please get your stuff inside."

I threw my things in my room and went to take a shower. After my shower I braided my hair to the side and crawled in my, hopefully temporary, bed. in seven and a half hours I will be in hell.
