Chapter 5

LJ POV (Lucy Jay)

Since one of them pounced on my back it gave me the advantage from being unharmed by the others.

The one going for my neck bit the one that jumped on me on the butt, while the one going for my legs bit the same one on his neck. You could say that they weren't very smart because they killed that one by themselves.

One down, two more to go.

I wiggled myself out from under the wolf that was laying on me and went to kill the other two. They both came at me but I dodged them.

I quickly turned around and had one of the wolves by the throat about to end its sorry life when the other one pushed me away right before I had the chance. Damn wolf!

I got back on my feet to see the wolf that pushed me nudging the other one to get it to stand up. The poor thong tried but was to weak. That really seemed to piss that wolf off.

It came charging at me trying to get my throat but missed. With that little mistake I had him by the throat and without hesitation I bit into him. I could feel the blood rush into my mouth. It tasted sweet and I usually hate the taste of blood.

I released the wolf and walked over to the other one. She was just laying there. She was barely breathing, you could see her chest going up and down every few seconds.

I went down to end her suffering when a wolf came sprinting out of the woods straight at me.

'Can't this be simpler?' I asked myself.

The wolf was going full speed I had to think fast. What do I do? He was still quickly approaching. I did the beat thing I could think of, I tried attacking him.

He went for my throat and I went for his. We both latched onto each other. He hesitated but bit slightly I knew he drew blood. I just bit down as hard as I could. He yelped in pain.

Soon his body slumped to the wood floor. I again walked over the female wolf that was barely alive and quickly ended her life.

I turned to walk away when I seen a whole group of wolves. There had to be at least 30 of them.

My vision was getting hazy and everything seemed to be falling. I tried holding myself up but my body was just falling. Finally I hit the wood floor with a hard thump before everything went black I heard a howl and someone yell for the pack doctor.

JORDAN POV

I walked into the pack house to see everyone was running this way and that way. There wasn't a single person holding still, not even the children.

I weaved through everyone to get to my office. There was about ten people by my door when I approached.

"Alpha, the Rogues are in a nearby clearing. We were going to send men over but we thought we would get your approval first." says the man that called me about them before.

"Okay get 30 of the best fighters ready we will be leaving in two minutes. Tell them to hurry."

*Two Minutes Later*

"Let's head out!" I yelled to my men.

We made it to the clearing in about five minutes. When we got there we seen a lone wolf about to kill one of the three wolves on the ground. By the looks of it two are already dead.

'She is good. Nobody approach her she might be dangerous.' I mind linked everyone.

I got a unison of okay's. Just when I thought she was good another wolf came running out of the woods. She ran for the wolf.
