Chapter 20

JORDAN POV

"Hey baby! Are you ready to come get me!" I smiled. "What! Where are you! Calm down I can't understand you! Lucy Jay! Calm the fuck down!" Sye started breathing heavily. I think she is trying to control herself.

She started sobbing. What am I supposed to do! I dont know where she is!

"Baby! You have to tell me where you are! Lucy just tell me." I said trying to snap her out of what ever she was crying about.

'I... I'm a few blocks from Ka...Kayli's. He... he isn't moving. You... you need to he... help him.' She said through sobs.

"Okay babe. I'm on my way!" I hung up. I kind of regretted it knowing she would probably need me to comfort her. "Scott! Get your ass out here!" I yelled to Scott. He came running out of the house.

"Where's the fire!?" He asked worried.

"Lucy ran over that freak of a waiter. Her and Kayli..." He cut me off.

"Lets go! My mate is probably going through hell! Come on lets go!" He yelled at me. I slammed him on the roof of his car.

"Your mate is not the only one there ass hole! My mate hit the fucking guy because you had to check out that fucking skank! If you would have kept your eyes to yourself then none of this shit would have happened! Now I want you to drive me there and I dont want to hear you say another word about how your mate is more imoortant than your Luna!" I yelled at him in my alpha voice.

"Yes Alpha." He said and I let go of him.

He walked over to the vehicle, but instead of jumping in the drivers seat he jumped in the passenger seat. Good cause I know where they are and you dont ass hole.

I got in and started the car. I pressed the gas pedal super hard and we were flying down the road. Can this drive get any longer?

It felt like hours before we got there, but it was only five minutes. Kayli seen us and came running. She ran to Scott's side and flung the door open. She pulled Scott out and gave him the biggest hug ever.

Lucy was over by the boy. She was crying. Why was she crying for someone she doesn't even know? She looked up and seen me. I thought she would come running to me but she didn't. She just looked back down at the boy. What the hell!? She called me to help but she is more into giving feeling for someone she doesn't even know!

"She has been like that since she got off the phone with you." Kayli said. I looked at her and she gave me a look to get out of the damn car.

I got out and walked over to her. She didn't even see me walk up to her. I touched her shoulder to let her know I was there. I didnt expect the reaxtion though. When I touched her she flinched out of my reach.

"Lucy what's wrong?" I said kneeling down and trying to comfort her. All she did was move away from me. What is wrong with her? "Lucy answer me!"

She shook her head. I called Kayli over and asked her what is wrong. She shook her head.

"She thinks you wont love her because she killed him." She said. I looked at Lucy.

"Babe you didnt kill him." She nodded her head. "No there is a pulse. I can feel it. Come her and you can feel it to." She crawled over to me. "Put your fingers right here." She did as I told her and started crying harder. "Now what's wrong!" She flinched away.

Shit! She is scared shitless and you yell at her smart! What can I do?

I reached out and grabbed her by the waist. I stood up with her still in my arms and ordered Kayli and Scott to take the boy to the hospital and say he was hit by a car and tell them it was a hit and run. They nodded their heads.

"No! I hit him! You have to tell them I did it! It was my fault! They have to know I did it! Jordan put me down! I am not having someone else take the blame for what I did!" I didnt put her down. "Jordan Brown as your mate I command you to putme down!!!" She yelled. My wolf whimpered. Now what am I supposed to do?

"Lucy I can't let you do that. They will put you in jail for murder if he doesnt survive. I am not lettig you take the blame for it."

"If you dont let me I am not talking to you again." She threatened.

"Fine if that is what you have to do, then do it."

"GOD DAMMIT!!!!!! JORDAN BROWN I SWEAR TO GOD YOU WILL NEVER HEAR A WORD OUT OF THIS MOUTH IF YOU DONT LET ME TELL THEM THE TRUTH!!!!!!" She yelled. I was debating if that was her talkig or her wolf.

"I can't let you do that!" I snapped at her. She simply nodded and she looked away from my face. I walked over to the her car and set her in the front seat. "Dont move!" I ordered. She nodded again.

I got in the car and drove off. I went to a car wash not really wanting to wash the blood off the car by myself. I put the right amount of change in the machine and we started moving forward.

"You are pretty quite over there." She nodded. "Penny for your thoughts." She shook her head. "Lucy tell me what's wrong." She glared at me and shook her head. "Speak dammit!" I ordered. She simply shook her head no. "You my dear are going to be the death of me." She nodded. "Fine we wont talk." Nod.
