Chapter 10

LJ POV

Great now I have to tell my mom the damn story! This should be fun! *Note the sarcasm!*

"Oh! Hey mom! What a pleasant suprise! I was just yelling at my mate. You know the basic human relationship, even though we don't date like them. Anyways, what can I help you with? Its been like three days since I have seen you! How have you been?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"Don't you try changing the subject! You killed the guy that killed your father?" she asked confused. Why is she so confused?

"Umm yeah? Why does that suprise you? It had to be done and nobody could do it so I had to."

"Honey I think we need to talk."

"Dont mean to be rude or anything. But we were having a discussion before you came in and I would like to finish that. Then you can have her." Jordan says truthfully.

"I will be waiting for her. She better be home tonight."

"Mom I will now go away."

"Fine!" Then she walked out. Jordan turned to me and walked forward til he was standing right in front of me.

"Can... can... I umm help you?" I stuttered ly asked Jordan.

"As a matter of fact you can." He said before crashing his lips to mine. "You see there is this beautiful girl." He kissed me again. "And I kinda can't get her out of my head." Kiss. "But she doesn't know how much I like her." Kiss. He pulls completely away. "Can you give her a message for me?" He said before walking over to a bag in the corner. He pulled out like two dozen roses, I huge box of chocolates, a teddy bear and a card.

"Are you serious?" He walked back over and set the stuff on the bed.

"Yeah. She is the best person ever. She goes to our school. She is new. But..."

"Please stop! I am not going to listen to your rant about this PERFECT girl! I'm out!!!!" I said walking to the door.

"Lucy! Damn it! I was talking about...."

"Look! I don't fucking care who you fucking love! Just leave me alone! I am sick of being hurt! And YOU seem to be the only one to cause me pain! If I never came here, to this stupid town, then I would have jever met you and I would be pain free. I have only been here for a damn week and I have already gotten hurt by you!"

"How was the rogue attack my fault?"

"If you would have left me alone after history class that day, I would never have left school and I would be safe from all this bullshit!"

"Okay. How was I the cause for Kayli hitting your car?"

"Let me just sum this up for you! My life was going perfect before I fucking came to this town! If I never met you I would still be with my Perfect Fucking Life!! Does that sum it up for you!?! I never wanted a god damn mate because I knew that he would remind me of my god damn father!!!!!! Now goodbye Jordan." I said then left him in the room.

Pain. Why is that all I feel when I am with him? Isn't your mate the one that is supposed to relieve the pain and make it all go away? Then why does it hurt so damn much?

Three days. Thats all it took! Three days with him and on every single day I have been hurt!

JORDAN POV

I watched as she left the room. The second the door shut I felt the rejection hit with it. Why did she leave me? I have only seen the male wolf reject his mate. But that is only because they didn't want to settle down. For me I Kept pure. For godsake I am still a god damn virgin!

I have been waiting for my mate. She is the only one that will get this bulge in my pants! So I thought, but she doesn't want me! So I kept myself away from those god damn whores for no god damn reason!

I walked out of the damn hospital room and out of the hospital. I am going to find the one thing that can make this better and that is a whore. If they can't help me the I will go talk to Lucy. Someone will show me some respect!

I was walking towards the parking lot when I realized I drove to the hospital in the ambulance. I went to grab my phone and realized that was dropped at the accident before coming here. Damn what I did for that girl and she goes and does this.

I walked to a payphone and called my beta to come get me. I was patiently waiting for him. When he finally pulled up I walked up to the car and opened the door. As I got in I felt a sharp pain to the leg and fell down.2

"Oh my god! Jordan are you okay?" Scott asked jumping out of the car and running to me.

"What the fuck was that?" I asked.

'ALPHA!!! There is a group of rogues here. They have Lucy! There is so much blood! Hurry to the lake clearing!!!!' A pack member yelled.

My wolf went berserk. He was thrashing around tryig to get out. I jumped up as fast as I could and ran as fast as I could, in human form, to the woods a few blocks away. I have to get there as fast as possible. I could feel my wolf ready to come out and if I didnt get to the woods fast enough he would expose our kind to the humans and I cant let that happen.

I was on the border to the woods when I shifted. My clothes shredding, bones popping, fur growing, all the fun wolfy stuff. My wolf took over. he wanted Lucy safe and back to the way she was before she moved here.

The way she told me off eatlier really hurt him and right now he wanted something that could kill and he was going to get just that. Blood!
