Chapter 16

JORDAN POV

Why does she think I would take her back the her fucking family? They have probably already forgotten about her. They should have been the ones to chase her not me. Not saying that I didn’t want to follow her, I just don’t see why they didn’t!

We walked up the stairs. LJ went stiff when we were getting closer. I tried to get her to walk but it wasn't usefully. She would walk. I swooped her into my arms and continued walking before they came out. That would have been a good thing. Note the sarcasm.

Scott opened the door and went in. Kayli was behind him and I came in last with LJ in my arms. My dad came out of his room and noticed all of us, especially LJ in my arms.

"Son? Why are you here? What did I say about leaving her alone? You guys were to leave her alone! I will not ask you again. You take her home right now!" He barked. LJ jerked in my arms wanting to be let go.

"No you can't take me back there! They will kill me! They made me kill my father. Well thy didn’t make me, but they didn’t tell me that my father then one that raised me from when was born wasn’t my real father. I killed the rogue that was my father. You can't make me go back." She turned and looked at me. "Jordan you can't let him take me back to them. Please don’t let him."

She walked over to me and pulled herself up so her face was in the crook of my neck. My hands went to her back so she wouldn't fall down.

"She will not be going back. That’s final!" I said to my father. LJ let out a sigh of relief. Maybe it was a good thing she didn’t go back.

"Jordan! We can't keep her from her family! Plus her mother called earlier saying that they were leaving to go back to their pack." He said back. My wolf growled wanting to be let out to rip him apart.

"She is not leaving! I wont let them! She will not be going anywhere without me!" my wolf took over a little, but I still had control.

"Can we make one exception?" she asked. I looked down at her and my wolf calmed.

"I wont allow it." I said smoothly.

"Well that sucks! I have to pee like a pregnant lady!" She yelled running to the bathroom. "I hope you dont mind me using your bathroom because I could give a shit right now!"

She slammed the door behind her. Kayli started giggling. I looked over at them and Scott was on the verge of laughing.

“Jordan! What the hell is going on? Why did you bring her hear? If her mm finds out she is here you are in deep shit! She only lives below us and knowing werewolves hearing they have already heard! Now explain!!” my dad yelled.

“She is my mate. I couldn’t just let them take her! She isn’t going anywhere without me.” I said back. Kayli burst out laughing again.

“News flash buddy she already left you.” Kayli said through bursts of laughter.

“She only went to the bathroom. She will be back.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes.”

“Okay.”

That had me worried. What if she did leave? I headed to the bathroom.

“LJ are you alright?” No answer. “Lucy Jay I-don’t-know-your-last-name answer me right now!” Still no answer. “You have until the count of three before I bust in there!” Nothing. “One!” Nothing. “Two!” Grabbing the handle. “Three!” I slammed into the bathroom and she wasn’t in there. “Where the hell is she!”

“Umm…. In the toilet?” Kayli said.

“Ha-ha very funny!” I looked around the bathroom to see any signs of where she went. There was nothing, I looked on the walls until I got to the window. It was open. I ran over to it and looked out. Her shoe was on the ground just laying there. Next to it was a piece of paper.

I ran out of the house and down the stairs to where her shoe was and grabbed the paper. I read it.

'Jordan if you are reading this then you are stupid! Have you thought about looking in the closet in the bathroom. You know the one with your underwear in it? I must say they are really nice. I especially like the pink ones. Anyways you can look up now.

Looked up and seen LJ staring down at me. i growled at her, then walked up the stairs to my home.

“That wasn’t very nice. I thought you ran away. I also thought that they took you.” I whispered to her.

”I thought the view was good. But since you’re mad you don’t get the finders reward. Oh well.” She said walking away. Damn she is too cute!

“What finders reward?” I asked her.

“Oh? So now you are interested? It was a kiss but the reward expired. So don’t worry about it.” She said walking into my room. How she knew it was mine was beyond me. “Oh My God!” I ran in to see her standing next to my stash of porn magazines. “That’s just nasty! Please tell me these are Scotts’! If not they are going out right now!”

“They are mine. But I had them before I met you.”

“Get rid of them!”

“Okay!” God she is bossy!

“Umm… Jordan? You might want to come see this.” Kayli said staring out he window.

“Jordan! Take care of this shit.” LJ shouted.

“Let me see what Kayli is talking about give me a minute.” I looked out the window to see a guy taking boxes to the trash. The boxes looked full of girl things. “Why are they throwing that stuff away?”

“I will do it myself!!” LJ yelled. I heard her throwing things into a plastic bag and head over to the door.

As she was opening the door I seen a women come back out with another box of things. She set it on the ground and turned around. Her face it was so familiar. It looked like…

“LJ!” I turned to find her out the door. Kayli scram and Scott was next to her. I looked out the window and the guy was holding Lucy to the ground. My wolf wanted to be released. He was stronger at this point seeing his mate on the ground underneath another male.
