The Alpha's Fiesty Mate!

Chapter 29

JORDAN POV

Lucy? Is she okay? Who did this to her? I will kill them all!!! Nobody hurts their Luna and gets away with it! They better have a death wish. What if she doesn't remember who did this to her? What if I did this to her? How could I have done that to her? Not possible. Is it? I totally could have done this to my mate!! Will she hate me forever? She will probably never speak to me again!

The baby!? What happened to the baby!! Is the baby okay? Will it survive after what happened to Lucy?

I ran into the doctors at full speed almost running into the door at the end of the hall. There was a bed in the hall way so I pulled the sheet of and wrapped it around myself before shifting. I went into the room that the Luna and Alpha usually use. She wasn't in there.

"Where is my mate!?!" I yelled to anyone that would answer. The doctor came out of a room I am guessing is her individual office. She looked at me and what I was wearing before shaking her head.

"She is in the third door on the left but be quiet she is sleeping!" I ran to the door and open it. Lucy was lying on the bed but she wasn't the only one in there. One the chair was another woman that I have never seen sitting there. She was holding Lucy's hand like they were best friends. What the heck?!?

"Who are you?" I asked the woman. She jumped up out of the chair and turned to face me. She had a lot of the same features as Lucy. Maybe this is her mother?

"I am her mother. Who are you?" She replied.

"I am her Alpha. Why are you here?"

"Because the girl on the bed is my daughter!" She whisper yelled.

"What is wrong with her?" I asked her.

"I don't know. The doctor said they want to tell you before I was told. Seeing as you're the alpha and all." She said looking back at my mate.

"I will go find out." I told her and walked out to find the doctor walking down the hall.

"I am guessing you want to know what happened to her." She said.

"Yes."

"A girl brought her in saying she found her in the tub. She was bleeding and had a huge gash in her head and back. We fixed it up and put stitches to help it out on the healing side. She woke up a few moments later and was wondering what happened. I told her what I am telling you know. After she found out she was so worried about the baby. We checked on the baby and... I'm sorry I can't tell you the rest." She said turning and leaving me there. Another doctor came out and seen me standing there.

"Hi I am the new doctor they recruited. I was told to tell you the rest of the information on Lucy. She lost the baby. When she hit her back she must have hit it hard enough to loose the baby. I am sorry to tell you this but she had a miscarriage. She is a little worried and she soon fell asleep afterwards. Probably from stress. We ask that you do not rush her into anything and take things slow for her safety." He said and left me standing there confused.

When it all came through I understood what they meant. She had a miscarriage?!? It is my entire fault. I walked back into the room where she was and told her mom everything.

"My baby girl was pregnant? You were the father weren't you? It only makes since. The doctors at my pack didn't say anything about the Alpha having to know before the patient's mother or family. They had to wait for the mate to be notified first. But she was pregnant and had a miscarriage. I am so disappointed. She was supposed to graduate first." She ranted.

"It wasn't her fault we didn't expect to get pregnant. We just wanted to mate."

"That's what males always want." She replied.

*beep* *beep* *beep*

Four nurses and three doctors came in. Wait when did we get more doctors and nurses?

"I am going to have to ask you to leave." One of the nurses said shoving me and her mother out the door then slammed it in our faces.

I tried looking through the door window but there wasn't one. I went to look through the window that is through the wall, again there wasn't one. This is the room where we keep the prisoners or rogues when they are injured. Why would she be here?

"I think I am going to wait in the waiting room." said Lucy's mom walking towards the waiting room.

I couldn't move my mate was in the room hurt and it was my entire fault.

Thirty minutes have past and I am still waiting for them to tell me what's wrong. I was just about to turn and leave when the door slowly opened. Three nurses came out along with two doctors. They looked up at me with sad faces before turning and leaving. I walk over to the door as the other two came out. The nurse said sorry before turning and walking away with the others. The doctor said,

"I'm sorry to tell you but Lucy is..."
