There was on rule on the sub. If something was wrong with you Go.See.Law. I broke that rule as soon as I got stabbed from our recent battle and when I popped a blood vessel in my hand due to me punching a chair in frustration. I couldn't think of anything to tell him as to why I didn't go to him when I got stabbed but if I did have to go to him then I would just tell him I punched the chair other than that.
The pain I felt from punching that chair hurt like a son of a bitch. I thought it would go away in a few days but boy was I wrong. I didn't put ice or a bandage on my hand cause people would catch on if I did that and then I'd have to go see law.
My hand hurt for a while and I mean a while and same with my stab wound. don't get me wrong, I was able to stop the bleeding but it still hurt. It was a good 4 days before I could fully close my hand and even then I couldn't squeeze my hand. Sachi and penguin noticed this but I told them about my hand and they laughed at first but then told me I needed to show Law. I told them that I didn't want to because I didn't want to get yelled at for it. Then they both reminded me of the one rule on the sub and I just started to have anxiety from then on.
We had a physical every month but I just didn't go to it when it was my turn. I would always make up an excuse to not go. I have no beef with Law at all. I even think that he's kinda cute but he always scares me whenever I'm injured. He always looked so mad when I got injured versus when Shachi or penguin do. We have shared rooms to make sure the sub has more storage. The person I have a shared room with is Ikkaku.
She saw me punch the chair. She in fact wanted me to go to Law immediately but I told her I was fine and that it only hurt a little bit. When in fact it hurt a lot.she could tell cause I couldn't even close my hand really. But on then a month and 1/2 went by and she then told Law and then she told me that she told Law. "Ikkakuuuuu why did you do thattttt you know that he's gonna come after me right, I say , whining. "Yeah I know but girly you need to see him if your hand hurts for this long" she said, hand on her hip.
"My hand doesn't hurt-" then she smacked my hand which sent pain all throughout my arm . I then suppressed my screams but it looked like I was holding in my breath. "y/n I can tell that that hurt so go see law now okay?" she said, patting my shoulder and turning around to walk me to Law office. We were headed over to Laws office when I saw law in the distance and he saw me and he looked Pissed with a capital P.
"Bye."I turn the opposite direction and start running as fast as I could. Even though we were underwater I still knew a few hiding spots. That is when I heard the most dreadful thing ever. "Room" he said and there was a blue circle that formed around him and I . "AHHHHH IKKAKU YOU TRAITOR AHHHH" I started to run even faster trying to get out of the circle. ".shambles" he said and I got replaced with a pen that he happened to hold on him. "H-hey captionnnn what's up how have you b-been" I asked, purely terrified.
"Don't hey caption me" he said extremely coldly. " so if you don't mind, I'm just gonnaaa-" . "office.now." he said glaring at me and then he turned around and started to walk to his office with me behind him mopping. I turn back at Ikkaku and mouth "damn you". We walked past a corridor with Shachi and penguin in the door frame. "Caption finally got you huh y/n?" shachi said. "Shut up Shachi" I say, glaring at him.
"Good luck y/n we'll plan your funeral don't worry" penguin said. "I'm not gonna die..... I don't think '' I say the first part loud enough to hear since we were walking past them but the last part under my breath. We finally got to his office and had me sit on the bed. "So tell me y/n-ya why didn't you come to me when you first punched the chair" he said, not relaxing his gaze.
"I - umm was trying to find a good enough excuse to come and see you about it" I say lying and looking anywhere but him. "Do you know the rules of this ship y/n?" he asked while I slightly looked up at him. "Yes I do" I say, sounding sad. "Wrist" he said, pulling a hand out and I gave him my hand. "You should have come sooner, this pain would have been much less" he said, examining the injured wrist. "I know but at least it isn't as bad as the first few daysss" I say now looking up at him and he just glared at me more. "How bad was it on the first few days y/n" he said with his expression not changing.
"Not that baaAAAdd" law put a little pressure on my hand. I tried to not cry out in pain into his ear. "Don't lie to me how bad was it?" man if looks could kill you then I would be dead. "It was so bad that I couldn't close my hand without feeling pain" I say feeling defeated. "y/n-ya if it was that bad come see me next time" he said now wrapping my wrist in a bandage.
"Well it wasn't that bad and on top of that it wasn't broken so I guess I didn't think that I needed to come and see you I guess" I say rubbing my neck with my free hand." whether its a serious injury or not you need to come see me even when you are sick" he said with a stern voice.
"So like with a paper cut"I say jokingly trying to lighten the mood. " Yes, even a paper cut, okay?" he asked, now finished wrapping my wrist. "Ok I'll come next time see you later". I say getting off the table and headed towards the door when he stopped me. "Where do you think you're going?" he said, looking at me with a smirk. "Back to my room, where else?" I ask, a bit confused. "First off, sit back down on the bed. Second, we have a physical you missed so you know the drill take your shirt off" he said looking at me and I just slowly made my way over the table.
"Shirt," he said. I took off my jacket and shirt and he saw my bandage that went along my stomach that had some blood on it . " What happened to you here y/n-ya?" he said now glaring back at me.
"Ummm a paper cut? '' I say obviously lying. He was about to take off the bandage but I then grabbed his hand to make it to where he didn't grab it. "y/n-ya let me see your injury" he said, now pissed off that I didn't go to him.
Now that I think about it, why didn't I go to Law when I got stabbed?... maybe because I just didn't feel like it. Maybe I was just tired from the fight. I honestly can't think of a reason' I then release his hand and he then un did the bandage. When he finished unwrapping the bandage his eye shot up at me. "Y/N" he yelled. I was in utter shock that he didn't use ya at the end of my name that I couldn't respond.
"WHY THE FUCK DOES IT LOOK LIKE YOU HAVE BEEN STABBED HUH?" he yelled causing me to move back a little from the yelling. "Y/N-YA ANSWER ME NOW" he shouted . causing me to flinch. "It's because of our last fight I got stabbed but I stopped the bleeding so it doesn't matter" I say looking anywhere but him because I was a bit scared. He inhaled and exhaled really slowly before looking at me.
" y/n-ya do you mean the battle from a month and a half ago?" he said, grabbing gloves. "Y-yes" did I or did I not ask if you got injured in that fight?". "You did". "Then why- you know what, never mind I'm just going to get you back by fixing it" he said, grabbing the needle and thread and gloves. "No numbing spray" I say.
"You know what? No you don't get any so I'll stitch you up with OUT numbing spray and you can just sit there and be a good little kid" he said obviously mad that I didn't tell him about my injury sooner. Damit that gonna hurt like hell. He then started to remove my poorly done stitching. "Lay down so you don't open up your wound" he said pushing me slightly.
"Shouldn't we do this in the operation room and not the check up room?" I ask hoping to spare us some time. "Fine....room...shambles" and just like that was on the cold bed and forced to lay down.
"Stay still I don't want you to screw this up even more" he said putting a disinfectant on my wound causing it to burn. I flinched and caused my stomach wound to open up again "damn it y/n-ya what did I just say?" He sounded angry so I didn't bother to talk to him.then he inserted the needle into part of my skin and I flinched.
"This is what you get for not telling me, this is your punishment," he said . " yeah but you could have put a little bit of the spray". I say pleading. "you should've thought about that before you didn't tell me'' he said finishing up. When he was all done he wrapped me and then glared at me .
"what" I say looking at him. "I kinda need my shirt and jacket. '' I say, kinda covering myself. "Go walk out there yourself" he said. "Fine but I guess you want the crew to see me like this then. I say winking and heading to the door. "Wait here" he said, throwing me his jacket. "Oh thanks" I looked at him and put it on. I smelled it and I smelled vanilla and coffee. " I then headed out to the check up room and got my clothes and then I left the room.
