y/ns pov :

I was running to the side of the ship to see the island that we were coming up on. " Hey y/n? make sure that when you go on the island you don't wander too far off okay?." beckman said, putting a hand on my head.

" Okay I won't " I say looking up at him smiling. I ran to my room to grab a piece of paper that I was told to alway have on me when I got lost. "I got my paper so I wont get lost now. I gotta get a small bag that way if I do get lost I have some supplies" I say grabbing my bag and leaving my room. "Hey y/n you got what you need in the bag?" I look up to see Shanks.

"Yep I got my piece of paper thingy and I got my other stuff too like water and a snack and some money in case I want to buy something"I say, smiling at him. " alright just don't go too far or else you-" . "get lost I know I know" I say pouting. " this isn't my first time going adventuring on my own you know" I say looking back at him. "Yeah I know just make sure you don't get injured out there alright kiddo?" he said, rubbing my head. "Even if I get injured it's not like I feel anything anyways".

"I yeah I know but what you have is both a blessing and a curse so you have to be extra careful alright" he said squatting down to my level. "Yeah okay I will" I say , giving him a hug. When we hit the dock, they put the ramp down and Shanks and the others went down first and I followed but made sure that no one saw me cause it would be dangerous if they did. Then when the rest of the crew got off of the ship we spread out and I just left.

I was wandering around and looking at different shops. I looked at food stores, weapon stores and toy stores. None of them really intrigued me. I was just excited to wander around by myself. "The gods will hear our prayers and will punish those who have done us wrong" I look over to see a guy on the corner shouting some random things.

Whatever he was saying I had no interest in . I walked past him and he stopped me. "Hey kid the demons are all around us so watch your back or else you get caught in their trap '' I then took his hand off my shoulder and started to run away from him . ' What was he even saying? I don't get it. Was he saying that the people are the demons or was he saying that some people are murders'. I stopped running when I reached the end of the street.

I look inside my bag for the piece of paper that I should always have on me and started to floor it to where it was taking me. When I looked up it led me to a bar and I heard Shanks' voice inside so I went inside and found shanks. "Hey y/n What's up?" he asked, looking at me. "Oh nothing I just thought I'd find you cause some guy was spouting nonsense about how god is always watching us and how demons are all around us" I say looking back at him a little bit shaken.

" Oh that guy is a preacher he preaches his beliefs in order to make other people try and join in on his beliefs" Shanks said, helping me up on the stool. He then got me a glass of orange juice. "Thank you" I said while drinking some of it. "You're welcome," he said. "People like that are kind of weird in my opinion" I say now finishing my drink in a few more chugs.

" hey y/n do you want another glass or are you going to head back to the ship?" Shanks asked as I jumped off of the stool. "I'll head back to the ship I'm exploring again tomorrow". I say heading out of the bar. When I was heading back to the ship all of the sudden everything went to black.

Shanks pov:

When y/n left Yasopp came in looking extremely panicked. "What's wrong Yasopp?" I say getting off of my stool. "H-h-he's in town" he said out of breath. "Who is?" I ask. "A-aoto is the bounty hunter. I just saw him around the corner headed to the docks" he said looking concerned. " Wait, did you say he's heading towards the dock?" I ask with concern in my voice. " yeah why?" I look at Yasopp and with a blank stare say "y/n was headed toward the docks".
