⚠ Sabo x !insomniac! Reader⚠

I got up and started to walk around the hallways to try and get myself tired. 'I'm getting bored walking around in my jammies ugh" I huffed. I remembered that I did not start on my paperwork. I head back to my room and look at the clock 1:00 am *sigh*. I started to work on the 'endless' paperwork. I was about to be finished when I heard a knock at my door.

"Come in" I say without  thinking. " hey y/n breakfast is ready. I thought I'd let you know" I look up to see the koala standing right there peeking her head through the door looking at me. "Yeah I'll be right there don't worry I just have some paperwork to finish" I say grabbing two papers and writing on one and stamping the other then placing both in two different piles.

"if you say so, also what time did you go to bed Last night" koala said now fully standing in view. "Oh that sounds nice save me someone okay" I say, focused on the few stacks I had left . "Are you even listening?" she said, annoyed. "Ill have the usual drink you know water and oj thank you" I say still not paying attention.

"Ugh I bet if your boyfriend was here you'd be paying attention huh" she said with a smirk  I snapped out of my paperwork and looked at her. "Did you just call Sabo my boyfriend?. "I say in shock. "He is NOT my boyfriend koala" I yell at her. "First off I didn't mention sabo I just said your boyfriend" I blushed.

"And second you would pay attention though would you not?" she said with a smirk. "What was that?" I say putting my papers down . "NOTHING well see you at breakfast byeeee' and with that koala left closing the door. I let out a sigh and put the paper work in  a neat pile about to  get dressed. I get  to the cafeteria and grabbed a plate of food and sat down next to sabo.

"Hey y/n good morning," Sabo said with a smile. "Hi sabo good morning, how'd you sleep?" I ask, stuffing my face full of food. "I slept pretty good thank you for asking how'd you sleep?". He said as I swallowed my food. "Ok what's with the robotic conversation going on here" koala asked. "What do you mean robotic?  were talking normally koala" we both said at the same time.

"What she's saying is that you tend to have the same conversation every morning, that's all" hack said joining us. "How do we have the same conversation every morning?" I say now picking at my food. "y/n stop picking at your food and just eat it okay?" koala said. I just picked a piece of egg and shoved it into my mouth glaring at koala "Jeez" koala says. "Hey y/n have you been getting enough sleep lately?" Sabo ask.

I look at him and look back at the food.

"So Hack, did you know that the south agreed to our agreement?" I say changing the subject." y/n? '' sabo said with a hint of irritation in his voice. "yes sabo?" I ask like I didn't hear him ask a question. "Did you sleep in the past few days?" he asked sternly. "yeah I got 8 hours of sleep every night why?"

I ask even though in  reality I haven't gotten any sleep at all this whole week. "Your lying your eye bags tell a different story" he said now glaring at me, "well look at the time  I have to turn in paperwork and finish some as well" I say grabbing my plate of food and leaving the cafeteria . I got back to my room and finished my food and then got back to paper work.

I finish the paperwork and go to turn it in. when I got the new paper work I have to do, I see sabo right there at the entrance of the office." hey y/n lets talk on the way to your room" he said crossing his arms. I tense up about how he said the word talk. "So y/n have you actually been getting sleep or were you lying so I wouldn't make you go to sleep?" Sabo said, sending shivers down my spine.

"I - uh-  I need to finish this paper work" I say trying to change the subject. "That's another thing, why do you change the subject when it comes to your sleep? hmmm". At this point I was going to tell him if that would shut him up. "so y/n" he says ignoring my comment.  We got to my room and I closed the door behind me but not before he put his foot and his metal pipe in the door.
