Rayleigh pov

"Hey Roger, I'm gonna head out, you gonna come with me?" I ask walking up to Roger , who looks bored. "Yeah why not I'm bored anyway" he said kinda in a lazy tone.

"I thought you would want to train buggy and shanks but  I guess not" I say looking at the two who were playing a game. "Well not really I told them that they could go and explore but they didn't want to do that so they just played a game instead".

He said. "So then why didn't you join in with them? "I say walking over to the edge of the ship. "Because they didn't want me to play cause I would "beat them easily "I mean they're not wrong but like I'm bored you know and on top of that the log pose has to be set for 3 more days" he said almost whining.

"Well I'm going to get more booze if you still want to come,"  I say , jumping off. "Yeah why not?" he said, landing next to me. "Well then let's go get some drinks and some more booze" I say with a smile.

When we got to the bar I sat down and called for the bartender. When she came over I noticed that she had pink hair and it was tied up in a pony tail.I looked next to her to see a girl who looked shy and hid a little behind her.

"Hi there my name is Katie and this here is (your name) she's new and kinda shy so I'm just showing her the ropes so please be patient with her '' I looked at the girl and she had black straight hair and it was put up into a bun.

"So what would you guys like to drink?" Katie asked. "I'll take some sake," Roger  said. " And for you?," she said. "I'll take some sake as well," I say with a smile." A few minutes go by and the girl with the bun comes up with are drinks "thank you" me and Roger say at the same time.

She nods her head and walks back to katie. "She's kinda cute don't you think? Roger  whispered. I choked on my drink and looked at him. He was just smiling with his eyes closed. "I don't know what you're talking about '' I say, looking away from him with a faint pink tint on my cheeks.

"Sure will go with that" he said laughing.

"What ever" I took a chug of my beer and glanced over at (your name) and we both made eye contact and looked away. I could feel Rogers smirk. "Shut up" I said glaring at him.

"What I didn't say anything," he said Putting his hands up in defense."You didn't need to talk, your face said everything" I say finishing off my beer and getting up.

"Hey, where are you going?" he asked. "I'm going to get  us some more booze before we leave" I say waving my hand away to him.

I walk over to the bartender and ask for the barrels and then walked back over to Roger. "So when are you gonna ask her out?" I look back at Roger with a wtf look. "Number 1 I just met her  number 2 I don't like her like that number 3 she doesn't even like me" I said grabbing Rogers drink and finishing it up.

"Hey that was mine and you're in denial my friend you need to get your feelings checked out by crocus or something cause you definitely like her" he said. Then the bartender calls us over for the barrels. I pay and then we walked out.

The next day I went into town just to explore and I saw (your name) at in the town shopping and I noticed that she looked in uncomfortable when some guy was talking to her. I walked up to them and stepped in between them."hey there (your name) remember I was supposed to pick you up for that date remember" I say completely ignoring the guy.

"Hey dude I was talking to her " I turned around and looked at the guy and smiled."sorry I didn't see you there little kid wheres your parents do you need help finding them" I say looking down at the now furious guy.

"Hey I'm not a kid grandpa and second I was-" I cutting him off turning back around to (your name).
"so(your name) shall we go".

I say putting my arm out for her to grab. She looked confused but I just gave her a reassuring look. "Yes let's go sorry for being late" then (your name) grabbed my arm and we walked away.
