Law x !sick! reader

"God I feel like shit today". 'I should just stay in bed today'. I shake my head and slap my face. 'What are you thinking, what if everyone starts to worry about you'. I smirk "what if I get law to take care of me? '''I giggled to myself which turned into coughing .

I changed out of my clothes and put on the uniform and headed down to the cafeteria. I grab my tray of food and sit next to Sachi and penguin . "hey y/n are you okay" Shachi asked." yeah you don't look too good". Penguin asked. Then I felt a hand on my forehead. "She has a fever. I look up to see law behind me. "y/n-ya go to your room and rest" law said glaring at me. "I-I'm fine I don't need to go to bed" I say trying not to go to bed.

" ok but if it gets worse don't blame me" he said, going to grab some food. "You should probably listen to caption y/n ''penguin said. " y/n if you not going to listen to him or us then just do some light work okay" Shachi said." I told you guys I'm fine so I'm fine okay and I'm going to do the usual since I'm fine got it?" I say stuffing my face with food.

Later when I picked up a box I immediately put it back down and put my hand on a wall for support and my other on my forehead. " Damn it my head is killing me I need to be in bed, wait no y/n if you go to bed it will show a sign of weakness so no don't go to bed till the end of the day" I say loud enough for me to here but not loud enough for anyone else to here.

I look around and see no one. I then sit next to the box leaning my head on my knees. 'I just need a break that's all'.I thought as it became a little bit harder to breathe. "y/n-ya I told you to go to your room to rest but you didn't why?" I look up to see law squat down in front of me. "I told you I'm fine , don't worry about me. Worry about your own health" I say, sounding colder than what I planned.

"y/n-ya you need to go to bed you illness is getting worse" law said looking at me even more concerned than before. "I told you I'm-"law interrupts me. "Not fine you're not fine so let's go I'll carry you to your room" law says and then picks me up bridal style.

" ah law- I mean caption stop Im fine I promise" I say trying to wiggle " y/n-ya stop moving your gonna fall" I stop moving and just place my head on his chest. 'Holy crap this man smells good' then I fell asleep soon after. Law looks down and sees me sleeping soundly. He blushes and smiles. Penguin and Sachi saw the whole thing play out and they both grinned at each other . I woke up and slowly start to get up when I felt my body being pushed lightly back down. " go back to sleep y/n-ya you need it" law said then tucking me in.

"I'll be alright back. I need to grab something so til I get back stay in bed" he said heading toward the door. "Hey caption you should have Bepo keep me company" I say sitting up. " fine but only if you lie. Down. okay" he said glaring at me.

"Ok I'll lay down" I layed back down and a few minutes later I heard Bepos knock at the door." come in" I say weakly. "Uh hi y/n you said you wanted me to keep you company?". He said coming over to sit in the chair that was by the bed. "Yea I did" I say sitting up a little.

"Oh y/n you shouldn't sit up, you have to lay down." he said in a panic. "It's fine Bepo he wouldn't care anyways" I say trying to calm down the bear . "You know y/n the caption cares a lot about you so you should probably take better care of yourself for his sake please" Bepo said lowering his head. " I just thought that he cared for me like he did the rest of the crew."

I say looking down. ' Wait, does that mean that law has feelings... for me?!!!' I keep looking down . Bepo and I talked like that for a few more minutes until law came back.

"Sorry Sachi messed something up so I had to fix it. "Bepo you can go back to your duties". Then Bepo left. "y/n I told you to lay down" he said sternly while looking at me with a glare. "I know I know sorry" I say laying back down. He then put the thermometer in my mouth. 105.6 f. "y/n-ya you... how did you do your chores let alone get outta bed.... Two more degrees up and your organs would have been damaged" he said looking at me with the most concern I have ever seen him have.

"Oh I didn't think it was that bad '' I say, turning my head so I was looking away from him. "That would explain why you had a hard time breathing," he said, turning away to grab some medicine. "Wait how'd you know I had a hard time breathing" I say sitting up to take the medicine.

"Because when I took you to your room I heard your breathing" he said, taking the medicine from me. I lay back down. He then puts a damp towel on my head. " oh I guess that makes sense" I start to feel tired . "alright go to sleep okay I'll check up on yo-" he then stops and notices that I'm asleep. He smiles and kisses my forehead.

"Mmhh I..loveee... you lawmh" I say in my sleep. He then smiles and holds my hand. "I love you to y/n-san" and then he fell asleep right next to my bed.

Sachi and penguin took some photos of the whole scene that played in front for them through the door for black mail later on.
