Y/n pov

I was reading on the sub and then I heard a knock at my door."yes, come in" I put my book down and sat up to see who was there. The captain came in. "Y/n-ya make sure you do your chores okay?" he said and I looked at him and gave him a nod. then he left. I knew the captain for as long as I could remember.

In fact he raised me from a baby but he won't tell me who my parents are. Even though I'm really curious to know who they are, I don't really care. I got up and I got started on my chores. By the time I was done I went to the dinning hall and sat next to Ikkaku. "Hey y/n you got your chores done?" she asked with a smile."I did but I really wanted to finish my book before I did my chores but then captain came in and told me to do them so I kinda had to" I say Pouting.

"Aww it's fine but make sure you go get your food before you know who comes in '' she said. "Yeah you're probably right" I get up and I grab the tray of food and I sit back down before he gets here. "Hey Ikkaku do you think that the caption will let me help him with his next surgery or at least watch?" I ask stabbing a piece of my food.

"No he probably won't let you help him but he might let you watch" she said while I chewed my food. "If you keep on studying then maybe he'll let you but he hasn't let you even hold a knife yet so what makes you think he'll let you hold a scalpel?l" I look over to see penguin. "You're probably right" I say looking down at my food.

" Hey penguin, you made y/n sad say sorry, '' Ikkaku said, slapping his arm. "What I'm telling the truth" he said in defense sitting next to Ikkaku. "But still you need to apologize,'' she said." it's fine Ikkaku he's right when I'm older and know how to hold a knife then maybe he'll let me" I say looking back up and stuffing food in my face."y/n-ya do you really want to help out with my next surgery?" I look up at captain with disbelief.

I nod my head with excitement. "well i cant let you help yet so I'll let you watch instead, but if you watch you have to do every thing i say and you cant touch anything okay ?" he said and I nodded. "Yes caption i promise" I say with a closed eye smile. I felt something on my head and realized it was the captions hat. I look up at and see a faint smile on his face.

"Then it's a promise" he said. I put out my Pinky and he looks confused. "it's something you do with someone to make sure that they keep the promise you put your Pinkies together and we press our thumbs together like this" I grabbed his hand and made out Pinky's link and pressed put thumbs together. I lightly shook our hands up and down three times and on the third time I let go.

"There now you can't break the promise" I say smiling to him with his hat falling over my eyes.

He lightly smiled.

"CAPTION STAY WITH ME" I yell as I see my caption get stabbed again in the chest while he yells out in pain."y/n we have to get out of here let's go"bepo says picking me up."NO I HAVE TO SAVE CAPTION" I yelled  to escape  bepos grip. "Y/n just calm down" bepo says.

"LET ME GO BEPO" I yell hitting the back of the bears back. The man then stabbed law in the back and law let out a dreadful scream. Bepo lost  his grip and I squeezed my way outta there And ran to law. "Y/N GET BACK HERE" bepo said trying got catch me.

I ran to law and and fell on my knees next to him. He was bleeding every where and was barley breathing. "Law"I say with a shakey voice. "Y/n..n-ya" he said trying to look at me."Law please don't die. You have to stay with me please" I say putting my head on his chest crying. He put his hand on the back of my head.

"y/n... you have to... go" he said. "No I'm not leaving you. you promised that I would help you with your next surgery. So..so you have to stay with me please"I say sobbing. Bepo and the others came over defending against the enemy. "B-bep...o" Law said, calling him over to us. "Yes, caption?" Bepo asked with tears in his eyes.

"I-Im.. going to give y/n my... eternal life got.. it?"he asked, coughing up blood. "Ok caption "Bepo said holding Law up. "My last order is to get y/n outta h-here ok?" he said in the most stern voice possible. "Y/-n take my hat with you ok and treasure it?." He said. I nodded my head. "Yes caption" I sniffled, taking his hat and clutching it for dear life.

"Ok good... crew of mine.... We are disas-sembled... no need to fight.... But the last thing...I'm going to..."he starts a coughing fit. "CAPTION PLEASE STOP TALKING AND LETS GET BLACK TO THE SUB." I scream. Law puts his hand on head and gets a piece of my hair.  Then he puts his hand down like he does for room.

"Room" he says and then a little blue circle appears around the crew and the sub. "Shambles' ' and just like that we switched with objects around the sub. I start to sprint really fast to get to him but Bepo stops me. "You have to calm down y/n" Bepo says sniffling. "B-but he needs our help"I cried. "It's okay come here," he said. I slowly walked over to Bepo and he kneels down and opens his arms.

I start to cry In his arms and he brings me to my room. He lays me down and I cry myself to sleep. The transponder snail rang and Bepo answered it and everyone on the crew gathered around except for me. "I l-love a...all of you guys... take y/n t-to- the straw hats and l-let *coughing* her go with t-t-them got it"he said.

"Yes sir."they said. Some of the crew was crying and others were just sniffling. "Alright.. now good-bye t-tell y/n that s-she's a good kid'' he starts coughing really bad. "say..o..na..ra" Then the line cuts.

a/n: died a little on the inside writing this. Idk if you could tell but i love law sm bro. i added the hat thing last minute and i cried on the inside when i did. And i was feeling a lil silly so i wrote this.
