the car was filled with 'hellos' or laughter as luke got in the car. the next problem to face was how the hell they were fitting luke in the car. michael already had lily sitting ontop of him, except for the fact that she was asleep, erin and ashton decided to swap.

luke sitting by the window, ashton in the middle, and erin sort of on the floor. luke hummed and tapped her arm, pulling her up and having her sit. sure it wasn't the most comfortable place but the car made for five people has seven.

erin laid her head back onto luke's shoulder, sighing. "i missed you." erin whispered, which made luke smile, biting back onto his lip ring a bit. he had his arms fully around her waist, trying to not have her hit the roof whenever they hit a bump or pothole.

ashton was playing temple run and humming along to whatever song was on the radio, he was a bit hurt at whatever was going on next to him, but he knew that he couldn't do a single thing about it.

michael held onto lily like his life depended on it, she had brought up her moms night shifts, which is why she's always so tired. so he tends to let her sleep when she needs to. ashton nudged him, "you still planning on asking soon?" he motioned to lily, "ask what?" luke questioned, leaning forward. "he wants to ask lily to be his girlfriend." michael just rolled his eyes, sydney turned around and he shook his head while smiling.

"oh my god he really wants to," sydney began, "holy shit man, youre whipped." calum laughed, glancing up at them through his rearview mirror. michael pointed to sydney, "and you're not?" michael joked, calum shook his head, a slight smile plastered on his face. sydney hit his arm, making a shocked expression, "you're not? so that's why you kissed me last night?"

ashton dropped his phone, staring at michael with his jaw dropped. "YALL KISSED?" ashton exclaimed, michael saw in the rearview calum go bright red, and sydney hid her face in her hands. "nuh uh, you two aren't allowed to go quiet now," erin protested, leaning forward, luke trying to pull her back, "this is a remarkable moment, you kissed before michael and lily!"

michael threw his hands in the air, groaning. erin smiled a bit before hitting luke with her elbow, "ow- what?" she leaned over to whisper something into his ear, to which she also relayed to ashton, who relayed it to sydney, who relayed it to calum.

"so! michael, when are you gonna ask her?" calum cleared his throat, glancing at him through the mirror, michael was more than confused. "uhm, i dont know. probably at one point." sydney shook her head, "gotta make it romantic i guess." she sighed, leaning her head onto the headrest. erin got comfy again, looking at lily and laughing to herself.

"what?" michael asked, he was lost on the topic of this entire conversation. "i hate to be the one to tell you, but she's been awake the whole time." erin laughed through her words, pointing to her.

michael looked down, wide-eyed to see lily who was definitely awake. "oh my god." he put his hands up to his face, going entirely red. erin leaned against luke again as she watched the two, and luke kept his arms around her, burying his face into her shoulder.

lily tried to pry michael's hand away from his face, giggling as she did so. "hey! cmon dont cover your face!" lily begged as she kept trying to pull his hands away.

since none of them could decide where to go, erin offered to go to her place, she had the same style house as lily, so they would easily know where to go. it was only around four pm, so they figured they'd order something out to eat and have a chill night.

settling into the basement, the layout was similar to lily's sleepover just a few weeks prior. michael with lily, sydney in-between lily and calum, and erin between luke and ashton.

it took them a good three hours to even find a movie, plus another twenty to order food and have it delivered. around thirty minutes into the movie, everybody started to leave, slowly but surely. but luke stayed. he didn't want to go yet, it was only seven pm, he didn't have anywhere interesting to be.
