House warming party

Today was our house warming party and I was beyond excited in fact I haven't been able to stop smiling since I woke up in the morning. True to her words Rona and her agency planned/sponsored the whole house warming.

Since I practically destroyed our old house, Ayo didn't want anything from the old house as did I, so we had to buy every single item back. We sold the old house as well. Mama G also came back few weeks ago and was helping me with the decorating the house to my personal taste.

Ayo also helped, mostly by keeping me company or taking care of Amaya while I made the purchases for the furnitures and other necessities. Nobody knew we bought a new house except my friends until I announced it on my Instagram.

The party was now in full swing, the house was scattered with our friend and family and basically every big names in the industry. Servers and caterers moved about serving the guest. We even had Dj Tunez doing his thing. The party looked like a semi concertEveryone kept oohing and ahhing when they saw the house.

"Girl what on earth are you gonna do with all these gifts?" Sean questioned coming to stand beside me. He flew in last week and was staying with Steph.

"I say you sell them on amazon or open a gift item shop, here you go Liyah" Steph said holding a glass of champagne to me.

"Thanks" I collect the glass and sipped the bubbly white wine.

Sean scrunch his face, "Sell on Amazon? Girl not everyone is broke like you!" He slams at Steph.

Steph slaps his shoulder. "I'm not broke!"

Sean roll his eyes rubbing his arm, he face me, "Liyah why on earth did you send out a registry?"

"Yeah, I was surprised when I saw the registry too" Thyra inputs.

"I didn't know they were going to send a registry alongside the invites" I told them. Like I said Rona was in charge of planning the party and sending the invitations, all I did was make the guest list, I didn't know she would send a registry for household items with the invites. "Trust me I'm also surprised to see these gifts." Everyone that showed up to the party came with gifts, I have a whole room filled with boxes of household items that I clearly don't need since I already decorated the house.

"So what are you going to do with them gifts?" Sean sipped his wine.

I shrug, "Dunno, y'all can come over and take what you need then I might sell the rest or give them away."

"Girl you bet I'm coming for them gifts when I'm ready to move down here" Sean said.

Thyra scoff, "Sean please, you've been talking about moving up London like your ass will actually move."

"Don't Listen to Sean, he's all talk no action" Steph tuts making us laugh.

Sean glare at us, "Watch y'all act surprised when I actually move."

"When you eventually move then we gon believe but for now? Dream on!" Says Stephanie.

"Anyway" Sean clears his throat, "Liyah I gotta say Ayo went all out for this house! I mean look at the size of this mansion! That man was not joking when he said he didn't wanna lose you!"
