Evie Pov

Fallon, Verena, and Bryar are all crowded on my bed as I get ready for my date with Princess Eloise. My Mom is currently packing a few more things that she says I didn't pack in the picnic basket. I love my family I do but my sister and Fallon dragged me to get my entire body waxed. My brothers and Dad have been emotional and crying about this being my first date ever and how they thought I'd live with them forever. Literally no ounce of faith in me.

"I knew that suit would look good on you!" I turn and smile at my body in the mirror. I was a bit hesitant to wear this, but I look really good. It's a white bikini with small strawberries on, it hugs me really well but also allows me to be comfortable.

"Thanks," I spin around and grab my red strapless maxi dress. My sister begged me to wear it, sometimes she has good taste in clothes. I quickly get dressed before grabbing my beach bag and cell phone and making my way to the kitchen to check on the picnic basket.

I almost trip over my feet when I spot Eloise sitting at the island talking with my parents and laughing. "I should've known you'd come early." I smile as she snaps her head in my direction before letting her eyes trail down my body. I do the same as I make my way over to my mom to check the basket. She's wearing jean shorts and an unbuttoned white dress shirt.

"You look cute." My compliment meets her ears but she doesn't hear me. She hums before her eyes flick up to meet mine. I turn to my mom and kiss her cheek before hugging her. "Thanks, mama" She kisses my head before handing the basket to Eloise and practically shoving us out of the door.

I blush as we walk to her car, placing our things in the backseat. Eloise walks around me and opens my door for me, smiling the entire time.

"Hi," I look up at her and place my hands on top of hers. "You look pretty," I tell her again, and hopefully, this time she responds.

"Thank you, Evie." She motions for me to get in the car before closing my door and walking around to the driver's side of the jeep.

I watch as she puts the car in drive before taking off. Her eyes shoot over to me quickly before she laughs. "Why are you looking at me like that Evie?" She turns to me as we stop at a red light. I shrug as the wind blows through the open windows.

"You got bangs, it looks really good," I state. She grins before leaning across the console to give me a quick kiss on the lips.

"Nothing gets past you, huh?" She snickers when I smack her arm a few times.

"I'll bury you in the sand and leave you there."

"So pretty!" I squeal as I kick off my sandals. We're on the private part of the beach. Her bodyguards linger around in certain areas but are still 'out of sight'. I guess being a royal has its perks, now we don't have to fight to find a good spot.

I kneel down on the giant beach blanket Eloise brought and smile at her. She's stripped out of her clothes and is now spraying sunscreen on. Her bangs are so cute, I can tell she braided her hair down last night because they're wavy just like the rest of her hair. She glances in my direction and motions for me to come to her.

"Lemme help you with this," She hands me the sunscreen before grabbing the ends of my dress and pulling it over my head. I'm glad I listened to my brothers and put my hair in two braids for today. "Spin around so I can do the back." I quickly turn and allow her to apply more sunscreen to my body.

"Can we play around first before we eat?" I smile at her and she grins back.

"Of course."

For a few hours, we spend our time shoving each other in the ocean, swimming around, screaming, and just enjoying each other's presence. I collected many seashells to take back home. Eloise told me not to get a lot because she wasn't going to carry the bucket back to the car for me. Rude.
