Evie Pov

"Baby you have to eat something."

"Evie come out of the bathroom...please."

"Fuck it.....get the phone."

"Here Evie, Eloise answered."

"No,"

"What?! Didn't you want us to call her?!"

"I want my dad!" Finally, the tears begin to spill over as I drop to the floor. I was a complete mess today. It wasn't supposed to go like this. I was supposed to get ready, eat a little something, harass my mom, and then walk down the aisle. Instead, I locked everyone out of the room and started crying on the floor.

Typical Evie.

I just wanted my dad. As tears fall down my face a strong knock comes and my dad's voice follows.

"Lovebug, open up." I unlock the door and immediately throw myself into his arms. He moves us back into the room, closing the door. He settles me into the chair and begins doing my hair. We sat in silence and it helped me a lot.

I started my morning with everyone yelling and running around. Pinching, pulling, looking at me and I just couldn't handle it anymore. I needed peace and quiet to get ready and they just wouldn't shut up.

"What happened?"

"Too loud. Too much." I peek up in the mirror to watch him nod his head in understanding.

"I told your mom that you'd want to get ready in peace but she didn't believe me. I guess since you're so insane to begin with,"

"Hey!"

"There we go. Now make up or not?" I had gotten my hair cut this morning and pressed out and pulled back into a cute neat bun. The one thing I didn't mess up were my bangs and I never got to put in the clips either, so my dad did it for me.

"Um, I wanted to do just a natural look." He nods and walks over to get my dress ready as I do my makeup. Eventually, after a few accidental kicks and a lot of pulling, we got the dress on and the heels on along with everything else. Now we both stood, staring at my reflection in the mirror. No words just two people staring with a million thoughts swimming through our minds.

Fallon did an excellent job making this dress and I'd have to repay her until I die. It's an off-shoulder princess gown. It cuts in between my breasts and icy lace swims across the sleeves before going down my dress. I had a diamond necklace on and white heels that were hidden underneath my dress. My nails were a classic French tip with little pearls on them.

"You look so beautiful lovebug." Tears build up in his eyes as I turn to him with a big smile on my face. "And your makeup turned out perfect too." I laugh and shake my head. he wad watched me get frustrated over and over with my base makeup before I finally got it together.

"Thank you so much, dad. I love you forever." I hug him tightly as he sniffles.

"I love you forever Evie." He wipes his eyes before nodding his head and pulling out his phone to take a few pictures together. They started serious before we started goofing off and then my mother and everyone else walked in.

"Well, at least he got you ready." She shakes her head as I straighten up with a big smile. They all gather around me gushing over how I look and how sorry they were that they made me overwhelmed. "Evie, my baby is finally getting married."

"I'm sorry for kicking you out but I left the important part for you Mom." I push a cream-colored box towards her. Inside was the veil that almost every woman in our family got married in. She didn't care what I did, who got me ready, or who I married (that's a lie), all she wanted to do was put the veil on me.
