This wasn't even supposed to be published, if not for some emergency reasons. My dormitory is calling us all back to school as you can see up there. I knew it was going to be by May, what i didn't know was that it was going to be this early. I was planning on announcing it by mid may and then publishing every chpaters I've written, starting by this. But damn, now that we've got the order to go back, i guess all my plans got voiled?
Anyways, that's not the point here. What I'm saying, I'm probably not gonna be writing again for at the very least 3 - 4 months. At least, until the term ends. I would've written in there, but too bad, phones are prohibited.
I'm sorry to have disappointed you all again. I'm sorry to have taken that 10 day vacation. If only I had continued writing, we would've gotten more stories to read... My laziness get the better of me...
Again, sorry, and please enjoy the what could've been my last work for a while.

Shirai Kuroko, to say the least, has always been favoured by fate. She hardly ever has rocks thrown at her by the God's above. Hardly ever suffering from hardships in life.
She hailed from a wealthy family who owns a major chain of convenience stores. So saying that she was rich would only undermine it. She is on par with some of the richest families in the city. Except for a few though... but that's not the point.
And even though she is a young, wild and curious mind, she has always been deemed as a prodigal child according to the country's criteria. An above average by Academy City's standard. Having reached Level 2 at the age of 10 years old. Whereas most people her age isn't even a Level 1, she is already on the way to ascending to a level higher than she currently is.
She is also raised to believe that she is able to gain experience and see the bigger picture. She should've been able to find out about those things when she was old enough to understand them herself. But there isn't a single thing in her life that doesn't beg her to look for answers to those mysteries that she can't, and won't, see.
Having a polite, strong willed and kind natured characteristics had made her rather popular to her peers. Basically one of those characters in an anime who has everything. A Mary Sue, some people might call them.
Too bad, none of these things can save you from the clutches of the shadow.
One time while class was in session, her homeroom teacher, along with the school principal, asked her to pack her bags and come with them. She complied in a heartbeat. Bidding her goodbye to her best friend, Uiharu Kazari along the way. Unbeknownst to them, that goodbye is going to be their last for an unprecedented amount of time.
The two made her wait outside the school gate with them. The sky is filled with puffy white clouds, shielding them from the stinging, scorching sun.
She asked the two older people exactly what they were waiting for. No direct answers were given.
"Your place to grow isn't here, Kuroko-chan, but elsewhere."
"What does that mean?"
He looked hesitant.
"You're… you've been transferred to another school. A school that is made specifically to improve and develop ESP powers. Yours especially."
The principal told her with a tone that demands no further questioning. Her parents had always taught her not to question her elders unless their acts seemed rather fishy. And they're acting anything like that. Plus it's hard when everything around you seems to be asking the exact same questions.
