With his que finally delivered, the albino got up from his seat and followed the man in white robes.

He wasn't exactly excited about this, nor was he not anticipating it, as it is, after all, his first ever fight with an actual level 5s. He has fought before with some people who were said to have the potential to become his rivals. But none of them are of any major threat to his throne. Just weaklings who thought that they're better simply because of his smaller frames.

This one however, was said to be different.

That bastard Kihara said that this lab rat was a different kind of Esper breed. The foreign scientists claimed that she was a natural Esper. A gemstone, she was. And a Level 5 at that. He's never really fought one, so he was kind of intrigued how well the strongest gemstone would fare against the Greatest Esper of all time.

Though, he was rather sceptical…

This is the foreign organisation we're talking about. The copycats who tried to recreate the same Espers as the one in Academy City. Most of the time, they failed. Without the same level of Technology the city has, they'd never be able to make one. At the very least, not of the same calibre as us. Not only that, their understanding of it wouldn't even be the bare minimum. The drugs and machinery that helped the brain function properly upon the AIM Field is acquired are all exclusively created by Academy City. And even the albino knew that the city has no plan on giving all those away any time soon.

There was one time when the European organisation tried challenging him with their very own Level 5s. They dubbed him the 'Time Lord'.

They claimed that their creation has the ability to manipulate time. An ability unbelievably more powerful than his. Even the albino knew that he was going to lose. Except, the albino knew that there was a flaw in said ability.

How exactly is this Time Lord supposed to stop time? Sure that wasn't his full ability, but rather a sub ability of one of his. Because just like Meltdowner, whose ability wasn't actually about shooting big hot green lasers, but rather the ability to manipulate electrons.

Then what was his? Motion negator? An ability that allows him to erase every motion in space? Then its effect would only be temporary. Motion will return in seconds, because it only stops motion, not erase the 4th dimension. The only way he could stop time with this is by continuously multiplying motions to 0. Which, if universally done, would require quintillions of calculations done per seconds. No human could do that without the support of supercomputers and neurotropic drugs. Even for him.
