Saturday came along, and it was time to go on our trips to the lakes. I spent all last night deciding what to pack, and helping Ricky. I had gone over to Skie's house after packing because I was going in the car with them. The whole drive, all I did was think about Peter. I wonder if he's as hurt as I am.

"You should've kept a long distance relationship. That's what Daniel and I are doing. And we'll videochat and text every day, so it's kind of like we're still together." Skie said.

"They're going to find new friends and new girlfriends so it's no use. Long distance relationships suck too. He could be cheating and you'll never know cause you're in a different state." I replied.

The Skie said "you're such a downer. Daniel will never do that too me. I know it."

What Skie didn't know was that Daniel was already cheating on her. He had liked Kaila Queen since the first day of school, and he had asked her out, while he was dating Skie. His father and Kaila's father worked together and were both being transferred to Nevada. They would be together all the time. I knew this because I caught Daniel and Kaila together behind the bleachers, and they told me to swear never to tell Skie, but now that they were all gone I could tell her. So I did, and she cried the rest of the way to Lake Erie, it was probably the saddest thing I've seen. Now our whole trip would be filled with crying, and remembering all the great memories ,maybe even cussing out Kaila. Which was true, but we still had fun. We went tubing on Mr. Lucas' boat, went golfing at the driving range, and roasted marshmallows every night for two weeks. We never wanted to leave, but sadly we had to go back to school on Monday.
