By the time Bakugou shows up for his weekly recap, every teacher is ready. They have tea poured, and snacks spread out. It is officially Tea Time With Bakugou. He's almost surprised by it. This is a lot of effort just to listen to some kid talk about his social life.
He sits on his now official chair, and All Might hands him a glass of tea. Bakugou pulls out the journal he has been keeping just so he can remember his notes on these quests. All of the teachers go quiet. Their eyes facing Bakugou in anticipation of what he is going to say.
"The week started off with Sero." Bakugou says, reading off the page with that date. "We went to the movie theater and watched this movie that Dunce Face had been dying to see. Just to have more fun we took a selfie and sent it to him so he knew what we were doing before powering off our phones. However, Sero was worried that I would be disappointed about the night since the only reason his favorite place is the cinema is because he just enjoys going. He was under the impression that a favorite place has to have some sort of special meaning behind it. So I had to inform him that all I was looking for was for him to take me wherever he thought his favorite place was, and nothing more. Eventually his anxiety cleared up so we could enjoy the night."
"I think Sero has two moods. Go with the flow, and panic." Present Mic says. The other teachers agree before letting Bakugou continue.
"Next was Tsu. Her favorite place was the aquarium. We made fun of the fish together. For some reason I felt more childish that day, so I definitely said some pretty embarrassing shit. She didn't make fun of me for it though, so that was good." Bakugou says, once again just reading off his notes.
"You acted like a child in front of one of your classmates and didn't immediately murder them?" Aizawa asks, shocked.
"Hound Dog, is this what we call character growth?" Power Loader asks. Hound Dog answers him with a nod.
"I must say I am proud of you Bakugou. You are doing well to keep your rash decisions and anger at bay through these." Hound Dog says with his signature growling.
"Ok, ok. Will you guys stop now? I have to tell you about the quest with Momo." Bakugou says.
"This is the one I have been waiting for." Thirteen excitedly says. She rubs her gloved hands together and leans forward in her seat.
"I have no idea what you are expecting me to say. It was tea. We went to a tea shop, and talked about her favorite teas while drinking tea." Bakugou says.
He doesn't even have to look at his notes for that. He remembers it well. He may be downplaying it for the teachers, but his date with Momo was his favorite out of this week. Maybe out of the whole quest. If he is being honest, his initial reaction when he saw her name amongst the other was hoping she would win. She is intelligent, quiet, and one of the very few people in the class who hasn't annoyed him at one piint or another.
"So we were all wrong. How could we have not thought a tea house would be where she would take him?" Midnight says. Bakugou rolls his eyes.
"Onto to possibly the most interesting one of the week though. Tell us why you were out so late with Todoroki." Vlad says.
"We watched the sun set on a hill that he apparently likes. Seriously spent that whole evening just sitting on a hill. It was quite peaceful. I have no complaints." Bakugou says.
Another one of his favorites so far in this quest, which is shocking for him to admit to himself. He seriously couldn't find anything to compmain about for that evening. On top of that, it left him curious. He wants to learn more about this hill and why it is Todoroki's favorite place.
"Why is a random hill Todoroki's favorite place?" Cementos asks.
"I don't know. He didn't want to tell me, so I didn't push it." Bakugou says with a shrug. All of the teachers are left curious and confused.
"What about Young Midoriya? You two came back not long after you left." All Might says.
"He took me to a beach not far from here. Apparently he cleaned it up himself, and it means a lot to him. Again, we just talked. Came bacl early because I refuse to be haunted by sand just because I spent too much time on the beach." Bakugou explains.
"That is very smart. Sand is the earth version of glitter. If it gets in your clothes and house, you'll never get rid of it." Nedzu says.
"I believe this means that next week is the final week for the Favorite Place Quest." Present Mic says, checking the list. "Are you excited for any of them? Two of your closest friends are in this group."
"Honestly, I feel like I already know where three of them will choose. I could be wrong though. For the last two, it will definitely be a surprise."
"Well we will be eagerly awaiting the results. You may go enjoy your weekend now." Mr. Aizawa says.
Bakugou finishes his tea, and grabs a sandwich on his way out. He is already looking forward to this week. It is going to be interesting.
