No one was disappointed in Mina's retelling of her quest as she had provided videos of her teaching Bakugou the Rainbow Queens' choreography. He was honestly not that bad. It was sad that they couldn't tease him though since he had immediately gone upstairs to crash.
The next morning Bakugou was met with his classmates singing the song the choreography belonged to very off key. They were surprised when he didn't yell at them to shut up. Instead he seemed to be thinking hard about something. That's when they realized it was Friday.
This is the last day of this week that he is taking someone out. The last day before he has to report to the teachers. The tension was high for those who can be selected now. Their trip would be fresh in his memory for tomorrow. If they do something embarrassing it would be the first thing he will think of tomorrow.
That's not what he was thinking about though. Honestly he was jut trying to figure out a problem in his math homework. He had woken up early and decided to tackle the homework he hadn't been able to do inbetween the excitement of things. He had barely even noticed what his classmates were singing.
-
During lunch he continued to work on his homework. He was sitting with his new normal group and they were leaving him be, for the most part. About halfway through Aoyama asked the question he had asked at lunch every day this week.
"Do you have an idea on who is taking you out tonight?" Yeah, this group knows before the rest of the class.
"Not really. I've been too focused on keeping my grades up today to think about it. Who else is on the list?" He sat down his pencil and looked at the paper he carries in his pocket. "I'm not in the mood for Deku's antics. If I go with Shitty Hair right after Racoon Eyes then they will think I'm just going with people close to me. Who is... oh! Yes! That will do." The small group looked at who he was pointing to and all grinned. Sure, they are a bit high energy, but nothing Bakugou couldn't handle.
-
The nerves were killing them. Who was he going to pick? Some were praying that it wasn't them as they would prefer the middle of the week. Others were hoping it was them since that meant they wouldn't have to face this stressful minute between entering the dorm and the selection. Some just figured he wouldn't pick them just so he could end the week with a bang. The one he picked was one of those who had assumed he wouldn't pick them.
"Hagakure, you're up."
Much like with the others, Bakugou disappeared upstairs to change and write down the few points he had for the day. However, Hagakure was at a loss. Did he seriously say her name?
"Hurry up sweetie. You can't leave him waiting." Aoyama said with a twinkle. Without anymore convincing needed, Hagakure went upstairs herself.

The bus driver was already at the stop when Bakugou and Hagakure got there. They climbed up the steps and Bakugou noticed that there were very few passengers.
"I was beginning to wonder if you'd show." He said, then noticed Bakugou's confused look. "It's Friday. Most go out with friends or on dates. All my passengers later will be intoxicated people trying to get home."
"Oh. Well, you know what to do. I'm going wherever she wants to go." He went to his normal spot and Hagakure followed after once she told the driver were she was headed.
She sat down beside Bakugou and looked around the bus. She found it strange how the driver had known him on what seemed like a personal level.
"So, Hagakure, tell me a bit about this place and why it's your favorite." Bakugou said. This drew her out of her mind and she looked back at Bakugou.
"Um, well it's ran by a kind elderly woman." She said, not really knowing what to say. "I spent a good part of my childhood there with her since my parents were always working to keep a roof over our heads. She would watch me while I helped her. Most of my best memories are there, so that's why it's my favorite."
Bakugou nodded, understanding where she was coming from. Most of his best memories as a kid came from Deku's house. He sometimes still goes there just to remember those good time before he became an ass to uphold a reputation.
"So, just curious, where am I in the way of points?" Hagakure asked. This caught him off guard. He wasn't expecting someone to ask so soon.
"Um, you were a little shakey at the start, but now youhave made it a quarter of the way to the first perk." He answered. "But then again, I have been somewhat doubting how I am doing the perk thing."
"What? Why?" Hagakure asked.
"Well, you see, the perks I have chosen is a bit more personal to me. Things like hand holding and stuff like that, I have my reasons for making them perks. But I made them somewhat easy to achieve. I know that some may reach them and then decide to drop out, and that would hurt me. I let them close enough to do things that I don't just let anyone do and then they just drop it. So I think I may change it up to where only the last 5 are able to reach those perks. They will be the closests to winning and then I will be less likely to get hurt by someone who isn't even close to winning and becoming my significant other."
Hagakure sat and thought for a minute. That made sense. Why let someone who isn't interested do things that are personal.
"I think that's a good idea Bakugou. You should totally make it the last five. I'm sure the others will understand, and it may also motivate them to not give up. If you ask me final five is bragging rights all on it's own." Hagakure admitted. Sure, she was interested in him, but she didn't believe she would win.
"Really now? Alright then, I'll do it. I'll make perks open at final five.
"Hey kids, your stop." The driver called out.
Hagakure jumped up in excitement and rushed to the front of the bus. This got a small smile from the blond boy. He loved her enthusiasm but that wasn't something he would admit any time soon.

The building was old. The glass itself was mostly glazed over with age. Red paint was peeling from the wooden sign above the door that was supposed to read Grace's Toyland. Still it had it's charm.
A small bell rang as the two entered the building. Shelves full of handmade toys formed a maze through the store. Some were made of wood while others were sewn together. Little croceted dolls lined the window sill, resting atop white cotton.
Hagakure wandered a little ways ahead of him, picking up a toy every now and then before placing it gently back where she found it. He made sure to keep an eye on her while looking at some of the merchandise himself.
They had been looking for a while and then something caught his eye. It was a blue teddy bear with white stars on it, much like the one he had when he was little. It ended up in the trash after his quirk manifested. He had been holding onto it while demanding to go to Midoriya's house for a sleep over. He had everything packed and was ready to go then his mother said no. He was angry and throwing a fit, then the first explosion he ever made happened. It destroyed the bear. Now there is a similar one here.
"You like that bear huh?" Hagakure asked, a clear teasing tone in her voice.
"Tch, no. I don't need a toy." Bakugou said, looking away from it. Once Hagakure went back to lookin around though he grabbed it. He'd just buy it without her knowing.
At some point a short, elderly, woman came up to them and immediately began talking to Hagakure. This was clearly the owner that she had mentioned. He didn't eavesdrop but he did notice her looking at him a lot.
Shortly after Hagakure's conversation with the woman ended the had to leave. Bakugou snuck some money into her hand to pay for the bear before following Hagakure through the maze to the door. He definitely counted this as a success.
