The last Saturday of the month. The day the class does their sleepover. It was already in full swing. Some watching movies and snacking, others gossiping, and the rest playing games. Bakugou had been pulled over to the cliche sleepover games area and so far he was not liking it.
The game that was being played was truth or dare. He hated this game because you either have to expose something about yourself or risk humiliation. There was nothing fun about it. Now he had to choose between the two thanks to his classmate Hagakure.
After a legnthy debate with himself he decided he'd rather do truth. The dares were starting to heat up and humiliation was obviously a given if he chose dare.
"It's nearing the end of first year, how come you've never done asked anyone out? Also why do you always say no when others ask you out?" He heard mutters of people saying things along the lines if good question.
"I like competition. There is nothing competitive when it comes to asking. They either like you back or they don't. If they do the only rewarding feeling you get is because they like you. Where's the satisfaction of getting to crush someone or watching someone else crush someone for you?" He answered.
"So what you're saying is you would date someone if a competition was involved." Mina said.
"The reward would be dating the guy they want, kero." Tsu added.
The way they were talking irked him. Why were they so interested in his dating life anyways? It's not like they even had a chance.
"How about this? You come up with a competition type thing so that the one's who want a shot with you has one?" Hagakure asked.
"Why should I do that?" Bakugou asked, annoyed at the very thought.
"You said that asking someone out isn't competitive enough. This way you'll be able to choose just how competitive it is. You get to come up with the rules and everything." Midoriya explained, picking up what the girls were putting down.
Bakugou thought about it for a second. It would make it more interesting to him, but there was a problem.
"Even if I had wanted to who the hell would be willing to do that to date me?"
Mina smirked. She knew exactly how many people wanted to have even a little bit of his attention. She stood up and yelled to get the class's attention. The movie was paused and the gossiping stopped. All attention was on the cliche game group.
"If Bakugou made a challenge for someone to date him who would be willing to participate?" Mina asked.
A lot of chatter picked up. There were people sayong things like of course and, who wouldn't. There were others saying it depends on how it's set up. He was shocked at the feedback.
Mina looked at him. He knew the look was her way of asking if he'd do it. He growled and said to give him until later tomorrow to figure it out. The game group cheered while Bakugou was just trying to figure out what he was supposed to do to properly challenge people.

The next day
His classmates were kind of nervous as the day dragged on. They had seen Bakugou writing in a notebook several times. He was quiet. His mind rushing around ideas. After dinner ended though he slammed a paper down on the coffee table in the common area and told Mina to get everyone here.
In five minutes the whole class was gathered. They knew what this was about. They were eager and nervous to figure out what he had come up with. Most theorized that it would be a fighting tournament while others thought maybe a huge obstacle race. They never expected the answer.
"Point based dating." Those three words confused everyone. What did he mean by point based dating? "Basically everyone has points or scores. You can gain and lose points just like in a game. You start off with 15 points. You can ask for your score at any time and I will tell you. However, I will not tell you when you gain or lose points. How you do is known by me and me alone.
At any time you can trade in ten points to take me out on a date. During that date you have a chance to earn more than you previously had as my attention will be soley on you and no one else. So the likelihood of me noticing things thqt earn you points I higher. On this date I will not take away more points since you already spent some to take me on this date.
Once you reach certain amounts you will also gain perks. Things like hand holding and being allowed to hug without me complaining too much. After all I'm somewhat treating this as if we are dating to see if actually dating would be worth it.
If you dip below the original perk points then you lose that perk. If you reach zero you're put of the running. I will tell you if you are close to reaching zero. I will tell you when you gain or lose a perk. I will tell you your score should you ask before a day when I tell everyone their scores.
Now, if you sign this paper to tell me that you are participating in this point based dating challenge you need to take it seriously. If you don't you won't get anywhere fast. If you sign today and decide that you want to give up later you can. I won't force you to participate if you don't want to. I'll give you until the morning to sign."
He put a pen on the table by the paper and retreated to his room. He didn't want to know who and who was not signing until he woke up. The idea did excite him a bit. This really was a fun idea.
