Atsushi and Akutagawa strolled down the path, admiring the beautiful cherry blossom trees that lined the walkway. The soft pink petals danced in the breeze, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect day for a cherry blossom date, and Atsushi was thrilled to be spending it with Akutagawa.
As they walked, Atsushi couldn't help but feel a bit nervous. He had liked Akutagawa for a long time but had never had the courage to confess his feelings. However, today felt different. The beauty of the cherry blossoms seemed to be giving him the courage he needed.
"Akutagawa," Atsushi said, taking a deep breath. "I've been meaning to tell you something."
Akutagawa turned to him, his red eyes meeting Atsushi's. "What is it?"
Atsushi took another deep breath, his heart racing. "I...I really like you, Akutagawa. I have for a long time."
Akutagawa's expression softened, and he smiled. "I like you too, Atsushi. I've been waiting for you to say something."
Atsushi's heart swelled with happiness, and he felt his nerves start to fade away. He took Akutagawa's hand, and they continued their walk, both feeling a newfound sense of joy and contentment.
As they walked, they talked about everything and anything. Atsushi told Akutagawa about his love for animals, and Akutagawa shared stories of his childhood. They laughed and joked, enjoying each other's company more and more as the day went on.
As they approached a particularly beautiful tree, Atsushi suggested they stop and have a picnic. Akutagawa agreed, and they laid out a blanket under the tree, enjoying the shade it provided.
Atsushi had packed a basket full of delicious snacks, including sandwiches, fruit, and sweets. They ate and talked, enjoying the warmth of the sun and the beauty of the cherry blossoms around them.
As they finished their meal, Atsushi leaned in and kissed Akutagawa on the cheek. Akutagawa blushed, but he smiled, feeling a warmth spread through his chest.
"I'm glad we did this," Atsushi said, looking into Akutagawa's eyes.
"Me too," Akutagawa replied, taking Atsushi's hand.
As they continued their walk, Atsushi and Akutagawa stumbled upon a small pond. The water was clear and still, and they could see the reflection of the cherry blossoms on the surface.
Atsushi suggested they take a boat ride, and Akutagawa agreed. They rented a small rowboat and set off on the pond, enjoying the tranquility of the water.
As they rowed, Atsushi hummed a tune, and Akutagawa listened, entranced by his voice. Atsushi noticed Akutagawa's gaze and blushed, but he continued to sing, feeling emboldened by Akutagawa's attention.
The boat ride was short but sweet, and as they reached the shore, Atsushi and Akutagawa both felt a sense of calm and happiness.
As the sun began to set, Atsushi and Akutagawa found themselves sitting on a bench, watching the cherry blossoms swaying in the wind. Atsushi's head was resting on Akutagawa's shoulder, and Akutagawa had his arm around Atsushi's waist.
"I feel like I'm in a dream," Atsushi said and with that they enjoyed the rest of their time together.
