The next month went by in bliss and Akshara and Abhimanyu truly could not keep themselves away from each other. Occupied by each other's thoughts, stolen kisses, hands always all over each other, looking for any reason to flirt. They had become completely love-stricken and it was not easy to miss - even family members had started to tease them about it!
And Abhimanyu had completely embraced it, feeling pride any time Akshara was brought up meanwhile, Akshara continued to blush the deepest colour of red.
It was only a week to go till the end of the financial review season too, so things were slowly starting to wrap up! And Abhimanyu had already made up his mind that he wanted to go on a holiday with Akshara, the moment it was all wrapped up.

Akshara gazed down looking at her phone feeling very stressed. Fear bubbled up in her stomach as she looked at the text messages she had received. Someone had snapped a photo of her at Dr Rohan's party the other day and sent it to her.
At first, she thought these messages and odd calls were coincidental and just related to a spam box but now that they kept creeping in, she felt even more uncomfortable. Sighing she looked down at the photo once again. It was her no doubt.
Biting her lip, she knew she had to do something. This was not a good situation.
"Should I tell Abhi?" Akshara wondered, debating the pros and cons in her head.
She knew he would be furious that someone had sent those messages to her and she knew he would get to the bottom of it straight away.
But so could she, right? If she just did a little digging and reported it, she was sure she could get to the bottom of it.
And Abhimanyu was so busy too... especially with the financial review year lingering. The last thing he needed was more to be worried about on his plate.
Especially when it concerned her... she had seen the look in his eyes. He would move mountains.
Her eyes fell on the mirror across the room and she let her eyes linger over her mangalsutra.
But....
But he was her husband.
He had the right to know.
It wouldn't be fair to keep secrets from him.
Making up her mind, Akshara decided.
She would tell Abhimanyu.

Abimanyu walked into his room from work, putting his coat on the lounge chair, and spotted his wife across the room, looking into the mirror and deep in thought. He let out a sigh of relief upon seeing her, instantly letting the muscles in his shoulders relax as even simply seeing her brought him the greatest peace.
Frowning, he realised that she hadn't noticed him which wasn't at all like the very perceptual Akshara he knew and had fallen in love with. Something was wrong.
Gulping, he noted how she was drying her wet hair. He was a total goner when it came to her as if all of the tiredness from the day simply faded.
Smiling, he took long strides across the room and wrapped his arms around her smooth waist, covering her completely. Akshara jolted out of her deep thoughts and then relaxed suddenly knowing instantly who it was.
"What's wrong?" Abhimanyu asked her tenderly, moving her wet tendrils away from the base of her neck so he could press a deep kiss there.
Akshara's breath hitched. "Abhi" she moaned as he teased her and she shivered under his touch.
