Falling For You

Chapter 10 🍁

It was the week of Hope's family's yearly Halloween party and they were already starting to set things up at the mikaelson manor. Hope and Josie walked into the manor with their backs over their shoulder and coffee in hand "Why are they setting things up already... they didn't do this last year" the brunette commented.

"They are trying to make the party better than last year..." Hope said taking her best friend's hair and leading her up the staircase. Josie nodded, that did make sense but the brunette liked the party last year she thought it was really cool!

The two made their way into the auburnettes room where Hope put her bag and coffee down before laying down on her bed "I'm exhausted" she complained. Josie smirked and set her bag and coffee down on her best friend's desk "Should I go home then so you can rest?" Hope shook her head and held her arms open "No come lay with me." Well, Josie couldn't turn down the opportunity to lay with Hope so she crawled up the bed and laid down next to Hope, laying her head on the girl's shoulder.

Hope wrapped her arms around Josie and let out a sigh "You smell good" she said, her eyes still shut.

"Well I hope so this is your perfume I stole" Josie chuckled. Hope pulled back slightly to look at her "The Victoria's Secret one?" She asked and the brunette nodded. She stared at her for a moment "You know what I'm not even mad the scent fits you better anyways" she laid her head back down. Josie smiled and wrapped her arm around Hope so that they were holding each other as they fell asleep.

As gay as this might look they have been doing this since they were little. Ever since their first sleepover when they stayed up really late (9 pm) and watched Disney movies on repeat.

When they woke up it was not by choice "Wake up gay one and gay two" Lizzie said shaking them both awake. Josie groaned and rubbed her eyes as she looked up and saw her sister hovering above them "Go away" she said swatting her sister's face away. Hope buried her face in Josie's neck "I'm here to pick you up remember?" Oh yeah, Lizzie was picking her up today.

"I've got to go, Hope," she said and the auburnette clung onto her tighter.

"Let go of my sister mut," the blonde said practically pulling the girl off of Josie "You are too old to be spooning her go do that with your boyfriend."

"You aren't my boss," Hope said glaring at her. Lizzie just rolled her eyes and pulled her sister out of the bed and to her feet. Josie grabbed her bag and now cold coffee before giving her friend a quick hug "I'll see you tomorrow" she said.

"First thing" Hope replied.

Josie smiled at her before leaving the room with her sister. The two made their way down the staircase. Lizzie's eyes went over the whole house "Wow maybe I should start hanging out with Hope more" she whistles and looked at the mikaelson's expensive couches.

Josie rolled her eyes and pulled her sister out of the house. The two walked to the blonde's car and got in.

"Have I ever told you how gay you and Hope are for each other" Lizzie said pulling out of the Mikaelson's gated community.

"We aren't... gay for each-other..." Josie said.

"You were cuddling!"

"Friends do that!"

"Not the way you and Hope were."

"You and MG do it!"

"Yeah, but we are together" Lizzie rolled her eyes at her sister. Josie let out a huff and looked at the car window. She hated when he sister tried to meddle in her business but that comes with being a twin. You get no privacy.

"My mom wants me to get a few more Halloween decorations from spirit halloween do you want to come?" Hope whispered to her as they took notes in their chemistry class. Josie glanced at her best friend and then back to her notebook where she wrote down a few things the teacher "Is this an option?"

"No."

"Then I'm in," Josie said and Hope smiled.

As soon as the bell rang the brunette was dragged out of the school and to Hopes Toyota. The teen drove out of the school parking lot and to the spirit halloween which conveniently was just down the block from mystic falls high. The two walked into the store which was surprisingly still filled with things.

"Okay, so what exactly are we getting?" She asked looking at a bag of fake eyeballs and fingers. Hope took the bag from her and put it into the cart "Everything and anything scary, we have no budget" She smiled and pushed the cart down another aisle "Did you ever end up getting a costume you like? you said you didn't like the one I picked out for you."

'Yeah, Lizzie and I went shopping a week ago and I got one."

"What did you pick?"

"You will see" Josie smiled and looked over the things on the shelves. Hope grabbed some fake spider webs and plastic spiders "Oh come on tell me the suspense is killing me." Josie shook her head "Nope, it's going to be a surprise, you can wait 3 days."

The teen huffed "Fine."

They spent about an hour in spirit Halloween and they spent nearly six hundred dollars. Hope decided to get a big animatronic zombie that jump scared you when you approached for the front of the house. She got a bunch of fake body parts, and a few party favors (Hayley's request) the woman was making goodie bags for the children attending. And they got a bunch of fake knives, and props for the photo booth.

"Wow you weren't wrong your family is really going all out," Josie said as she helped load the ridiculously heavy animatronic into the back of the teen's car. Hope chuckled and shut the door after they got the last bag in "It wouldn't be a mikaelson party if we weren't a little extra." The two then got into the car and made their way to the mikaelson manor where they proceeded to help Hayley set up for the Halloween party.
