Saturday, November 25th
The sun poured through my window, waking me up. There was silence surrounding the house. I reached for my phone in hope to switch off the alarm before it echoes through the whole house breaking the silence.

It's 6am, "I woke up a little earlier that usual." I shoved my feet in my slides and walked towards the window. I opened the curtains, as the sun flashed in. I could barely open my eyes in the light. It was a bright and sunny morning. White, fluffy clouds drifted across the sky. As birds sang a nice melody on the trees. I opened the big window to let some fresh air inside.

I stepped foot into the kitchen and saw him seated on the bar heightened stools placed in-front of the kitchen counter. I was hoping not to run into him. Whenever I see him, I feel suffocated.

His head slightly tiled back  and his eyes took a look at mine for a split second before turning back facing the fridge. At my attempt to grab something from the fridge he spoke "You know we have wedding to attend this afternoon, right?"

"I'll send a car for you at four o'clock." He tried initiating a conversation where as I just shortly cut him off by a simple 'okay' as I spun the spoon around the coffee cup.

"It's my second cousins wedding. He came to our wedding so we do have to go." His word got louder and closer until his chest leaned against my back as he placed his cup next to mine, for it to get washed later.

"It won't be too bad." His words slid through my neck as to how close he was. "It's a house wedding and I heard the places quite nice." His hands left the counter where they were placed and his steps were getting further away.

We have a wall between us.

A boundary he set.

A rule he set on the day I entered this house.

My husbands room, the only one I'm forbidden to enter.

4:30 pm

As I say at the table that was set for us I looked at the happy couple that was getting married. So that's how happy you're supposed to look when you're getting married.

"Carden how come you two aren't having a child yet?" The question caught me off guard trapping a lump inside my throat.

"It's been two years since you been married." My arm jerked violently, causing my finger to crash on the edge of my spoon . As the spoon catapulted across the table, my head turned down to my skirt which had been stained red because of the chilis sauce. "Ah." The only sound that escaped my lips. I bent down to grab a tissue paper from my bag as he start to speak.

"It's only been two years and we're still newlyweds." He said. "Even so, I'm sure you two will hit the boredom rut." His family sure knew how to put up an argument. "How could we, we're still so in love with each other." Love? He is so good at acting. He would've become a great actor if he didn't have a family business to inherit. I'm used to this facade, too.

"If you aren't planning on having a child yet, why don't you start working instead, dear?"

"You should start some philanthropic activities, as befits your role as the vice presidents wife of Blue moons company."

They kept running their mouths. A hand hovered over my shoulder. "Evelyn's only 25, and she wants to study more." Speaking on my behalf now, this is getting ridiculous.

"What major were you in again?" His aunt asked. "Art and archeology."

"Art and archeology? Is that even worth studying? You can always study later but you can't put off having children. Since you married young might as well make it worth while." Do they take me for a joke?
