Dani stretched out. Well, she tried to stretch out but found she couldn't move her arms. Slowly opening her eyes, she wondered where she was. She was obviously in a bedroom, but it wasn't one she recognized. The arms that were locked around her, prohibiting her from moving, she did recognize. Her eyes moved down, falling on the artwork of bats along the forearm she knew so well.

Then she remembered. Her and Eddie had run out of gas and some helpful bikers had saved the day. They'd hung out with them in their bar and Darla and Lenny had let them crash. Dani sighed, remembering that she may have drank a little too much last night in an attempt to get over her fear of singing in front of everyone.

"Eddie?" she called softly. Dani was incredibly comfortable right now all curled up against him but she was going to need to use the bathroom here soon.

"Mmm..." he murmured, burying his face against her neck.

"Eddie, I really need to get up," Dani urged, pulling against him in an effort to get him to release her. He simply tightened his arms, pulling her closer so they were spooning. "Ugh...Eddie, really."

She began wriggling, attempting to get loose from his hold. He groaned in protest and she slithered her body, wondering if she could slide out. Her wiggling definitely got a reaction, waking up a part of him, just not the one she needed, the evidence pressing into her backside.

"Jesus," Dani muttered, pushing her body to slip between his arms. She was just about loose when his hands grabbed her under her arms and pulled her back again.

"No," he mumbled, tucking her back into him, his chin resting on her shoulder, his cheek pressed against hers.

"Eddie, seriously. I have to pee," she protested, putting the full weight of her body against his arms.

"Just five more minutes," he whispered, pressing a kiss just between her neck and her collarbone.

"I can't wait five more minutes," Dani urged, pulling at his arms. "I have to pee and if you don't let me up, you're going to be laying in it."

"Fine," Eddie grumbled, loosening his hold.

Dani took full advantage, leaping from the bed before he changed his mind again. Rummaging in their bag, she pulled out her toothbrush. She opened the door slowly, peeking out into the hall but she didn't see or hear any sign of Darla or Lenny. They must still be sleeping. Owning a bar probably meant a lot of late nights and late mornings. Heading into the hallway, she peered in the next room, pleased to see she'd found the bathroom.

She did her business and brushed her teeth, wondering if Darla and Lenny would mind if she used their shower before they got on the road. Dani loved this adventure with Eddie, sleeping in the van, but she was not a fan of the lack of showers. They had resorted to using showers at rest stops, which worked okay but it wasn't the same as your own private bathroom.

She made her way back to the bedroom to find Eddie awake, laying on his side, propped up on his elbow, his head resting on his hand. He gave her his slow, sleepy smile, the one that unfurled something warm within her, and gently patted the bed next to him, pulling the covers up to invite her in. Dani climbed in and he instantly wrapped her back up in his arms, covering them both.

"Okay, be honest. How bad was I last night?" she groaned, snuggling in against him.

"Are you kidding?" Eddie snorted.

Dani sighed, "Oh no. Was I really bad? Did I do something really stupid?"

"No," he laughed, kissing her shoulder, his hand sliding along her thigh. "You weren't stupid at all. You were happy and having a really good time. I mean, until you hit a wall and you were ready for bed. But you were amazing. You had the entire bar singing along and cheering for you."
