"DAWNIQUE, DON'T YOU HEAR YOUR ALARM RINGING?" my mother screams at me from her room.

Instead of answering, I just turned it off; I wasn't in the mood this morning. I can't believe it's Monday! I don't even remember what happened yesterday, but I can definitely remember what happened Saturday night. Wait what if it was all a dream, because I surely don't feel any different. If I don't feel any different, then it was a dream! Well, I should probably get ready for school.

I hopped out of bed, and then ran over to the mirror to get a glimpse of myself. But as I reached the mirror, I noticed that I only did get a glimpse of myself. First, I saw my reflection and then I then it just faded. But, I saw myself long enough to notice that my skin was really pale and my eyes were orange, the same colour Joshua's eyes were the day of my party, well until he got mad. Oh no! Am I a vampire?

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" I screamed when I noticed the horrible truth. My mom came rushing in my room with Nancy and Gretta (our chef) close behind.

"Are you ok?" my mom asked looking worried, tired and irritated all together. I didn't know what to say, I felt stupid.

So I just said "Yeah, just thought I saw a roach." Without saying anything, they all went back to what they were doing while mumbling some very angry words. I need to get to school now!

Since I couldn't see myself in a mirror, I had to call my make-up and hair artists right away. I had to beg them to come since it was 7:00am (well sometime after seven). After they finished with me, I had to think of all sorts of excuses not to look in the mirror. When I was finally ready for school, they said that I looked fantastic.

As soon as I reached down stairs, I hear Joshua's horn blow. I really couldn't face him this morning. He rolled down the window when he saw me coming.

"Hey babe, what's up?" he greeted as soon as I approached the black SUV. I stood there with my arms folded, not saying a word. When he noticed I wasn't talking or getting into the car, he gave me an irritated look.

"I don't know what's up with you this morning, but would you hurry up and get in the car?" he asked, still irritated. I've just had enough of this boy.

"You don't know what's up with me? You don't know what's up with me?" I exploded. "How about this?" I shouted at him.

"You bit me, the night of my birthday party, made my heart stop beating, turned me into whatever sick twisted creature you are and now I can't even see myself in the mirror. And you really have the guts to say you don't know what's up with me!" I screamed. He narrowed his eyes on me, looking at me furiously. His orange eyes were now red with fury.

"Get in the car now," he said in a low but stern voice through clenched teeth.

"No!" I shouted "I'm not going anywhere with you!" He looked at me looking more pissed than I ever saw him in my entire life.

"DAWN, GET IN THE GOD DAMN CAR NOW!" he screamed.

As if I didn't hear him, I turned and walked backed to my house. But before I can get anywhere near my house, he got out of the car and sped up to me, grabbed my hand and said, "Get in that car now, or I'm going to show you how vampires die." Is he threatening me? And oh great, vampires move faster than anything else in the world. If only I had remembered that like ten seconds ago, I could've already been in my room with every door in the house locked.

I had no choice but to get in the car, and we rode a long, silent ride to school.

Why did the first class of the day have to be Biology? It's not the subject that I hate; honestly I don't hate anything about it. But my partner and I are on speaking terms. We haven't talked since our fall out this morning. Yes, you've guessed it right. My Biology partner is Joshua.
