"Did you hear me Miss Marshall?" Miss Hilary, my math teacher asks with an annoyed look or her face.
I was sitting in my fifth period class (maths) daydreaming about my party on Saturday, when Miss Hilary, my maths teacher, rudely interrupted my daydream. Seems like somebody got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.
Miss Hilary looks like an old goat. She's skinny and scrawny and her face is hard. She's about fifty-five and is almost ready to retire (thank God). She has really short thick, but straight, brown hair that she tries to wear in a bob. She's a little lighter than Joshua and she talks slowly with a very sickening voice. She's just an old bag.
"Or are you to busy dreaming about the future you and your boyfriend will never have if you keep failing this class," She snapped at me.
Everybody looked at me wondering what my next move would be, but this by-acth was on a role this morning."You know Dawnique or what does everyone call you? Oh yes, Dawn. Well Dawn, you should really start doing some studying and stop fooling around with that good for nothing boyfriend of yours."
Oh no, did this bitch just diss me and my man? I can see the smirk on Shantel and her crew's face and I wish I could slap it right off. Well this bitch ain't getting away with what she just said to me.
"Oh stop bitching Miss Hilary. You just mad and jealous because you don't have a man or should I say never had one and probably the only forty year old virgin in this state oh wait it's fifty-five right? Puberty, menopause and almost to retirement and still never got laid, that says a lot huh?" I snapped.
Everyone including Miss Hilary, Shantel and her crew and my girls (my girls and I have math together) look at me in shock because of what I just said to the teacher. I myself am shocked of what I just said. But she deserved it for what she just said about my man and plus making fun of my name.
"Miss Marshall, please take your bag and leave the classroom and I expect to be seeing you in detention this evening," she said very quietly but sternly. I gathered my things and walked out of the class.
"Bitch," I say under my breath as I pass the teacher's desk.
This teacher hates my ass because she thinks I don't put enough energy into this class as I do with my relationship with Joshua. Joshua and I have been together for two years and we never slept with each other. So why does this trick have to be all up in my business? I mean, I'm not a virgin but I never had sex with Joshua. This broad is just trippin'.
As I walk down the halls to make my way to the library, I see Joshua and he sees me. Why is he out of class though? He's such a delinquent.
"Hey baby," he says as he approaches me.
"Hi honey bunches of oats," I greeted back. He smiles at me then kisses me on my cheek. "So what are you doing out of class?" I ask, thinking that he got put out of class to.
"English teacher didn't come and they didn't even send a substitute." He answered with a wide grin on his face. Lucky him!
I looked at him and smiled, "So you're gonna wander around the halls and put yourself at risk for suspension?" I questioned. He looked at me a little annoyed because of all my questioning.
"Not to answer your question with a question, but what are you doing out of class?" he asked. That question wiped the smile right off my face. As I told him the story of what happened in math class, we see the principal, Mrs Adina.
Mrs. Adina is a short Indian lady, with long, straight, silky hair going down her back. She is very pretty and faired skin. She is a little thick, but it's not a bad shape. She is very kind, except when you're breaking the rules.
