Rajveer's Pov

"Beta dekho, tumhare shaadi, haldi, mehendi, sangeet aur kal ki Ganesh pooja ke saare outfits aa gaye hain. Tanvi ne last time fitting check kar li hai, ab ek baar tum bhi kar lo fir koi tension nahi hogi," my mother said, but my attention wasn't on her. It was on Tejasswi, who was heading towards her room.

"Aunty, aap tension mat lo, main hoon na, main sab dekh lungi," Tanvi said, wrapping her arms around mine. Ignoring her, I stood up to leave, but Tanvi grabbed my wrist to stop me.

"Raj, ruko na, kahaan ja rahe ho?" she asked, but I gently removed her hand from mine.

"Tanvi please, mujhe neend aa rahi hai," I said, leaving for my room. Suddenly, I don't know why, but I wasn't liking this whole marriage thing. I didn't even want to discuss it. I took the first aid box from my room, intending to go to Tejasswi's room to check on her wounds when Tanvi entered.

"Raj, tum.." she stopped when she saw the first aid box in my hand and quickly came towards me.

"Raj, tumhare haath mein first-aid box kyun hai? Tume chot lagi hai?" she asked, looking around for any signs of injury.

"Main theek hoon, Tanvi, lekin tejasswi ko chot lagi hai. Main unke paas jaa raha hoon," I said, about to walk past her, but she blocked my path.

"Agar usse chot lagi hai to tum kyun ja rahe ho, Raj? Uske parivaar vale hain, vo dekh lenge na?" she said, and I frowned, not liking the tone she used.

"Kyunki main jaana chahta hoon, Tanvi," I said firmly.

"Par yeh hamara waqt hai, Raj. I've been noticing changes in you for the past two days. You don't call or message anymore," she said, now getting angry.

"It's nothing, I was just busy," I said, sighing. She's right, isn't she? She's my would-be wife, and I should spend some time with her, which I'm not doing. She came close to me and held my hands.

"Raj, our wedding is in a few days, and all the functions will start from tomorrow. I want us to enjoy everything. I want to create good memories with you, Raj. Shaadi ek hi baar hoti hai, agar tum aise ukhadte rahoge to kaise chalega?" she said.

"Aisa kuch nahi hai, Tanvi. Main bilkul theek hoon, tum bas jyada soch rahi ho," I said, but she cupped my face and took another step closer to me.

"I love you, Raj. I love you so much. And I can't afford to lose you," she moved forward, and I could feel her breath on my lips, but suddenly, Tejasswi's face flashed in front of me. Before she could kiss me, I pushed her away from me, making her stumble back.

"What the hell are you doing, Tanvi?" I yelled at her, and she looked at me, shocked, hurt visible on her face.

"Raj?" Damn, what did I just do? Shit, why did I get angry seeing her so close to me? I looked at her, and she seemed like she was going to come close to talk, but I moved away.

"I... I'm so... sorry... I can't... sorry," I left the room, walking past her, and this time, she didn't stop me.

What was that? Why can't I let her kiss me? She's my fiancée, and she has every right to kiss me, so why does it feel wrong to me? And why the hell does Tejasswi's face keep coming into my mind? With all these questions swirling in my mind, I reached her room.

The door was already open, so I entered inside, but what I saw made my heart ache. She was crying, holding a frame in her hand. I moved towards her and called her softly, standing in front of her.

"Tejasswi," she looked at me, and I could feel something inside me ache seeing her pale, tear-streaked face and red eyes.

"Tum yahan kyun aaye ho, Rajveer?" she stood up and asked me with a cold face, not bothering to wipe her tears.
