Dinner with your family

                                                           
Im gonna say this from he beginning
That this oneshot isn't very realistic to ghosts personality
You'll understand what i mean while reading this ❤️

For Today you invited your family over for some dinner
You haven't seen them in a while and your sisters birthday was coming up
but of course before you planned anything you sat and talked with simon about it
Making sure he's comfortable or at least ready to meet them
Sadly you knew your parents were gonna think he's weird for having the mask on
but you still didn't ask him to take it off you want him to be as comedic as possible
and you've told your parents already about it and told them not to judge him
they asked why he wears it but you told them that he just feels comfortable
Your mom understood but your dad not so much
Your dad is a little tough but he told you he'll try not to bring it up
you didn't even mention the mask to ghost to make him not worry or think about it and force himself to take it off and he gets a little triggered when that happens

You are in the kitchen plating the meals you made for dinner
Shrimp/chicken Alfredo pasta , ghosts favourite
as you were finishing up the last plate you heard the doorbell ring
you stopped what you were doing and went to open the door
Once you got there you saw ghost sitting on the couch leaned in with arms on his lap and his hands holding his head
you signalled to  him to come stand behind you and he did
You opened the door and saw your mom holding a plate of something with some sort of wrap while everyone else standing behind her
You smiled
"Hi mom!" You said
"helllloooo" she said back to you with a big smile on her face as she handed your dad the plate she was holding and opened her arms for you
you went in and hugged her
"I missed you so much!" You told her and pulled away from the hug
"I've missed you to!!" She said
"Ok will you move now i wanna say hi to" your dad said as he pushed your mom aside to greet you
"Hey dad" you said and opened your arms for a hug
He hugged you back and said
"Hey y/n how are you?"
"Im great, how about you guys come inside" you said as you moved away from the door way to let them inside
Ghost was still just standing there
As they entered you hugged and greeted your siblings
when you were all done greeting each other
Your mom looked to see ghost and she found him standing
"whos this handsome young man?" She said as she looked him up and down
Ghost still stood there awkwardly as he looked at you waiting for you to talk and introduce him
"This is my husband mom, he's simon and he is indeed very handsome" you said
"Owhh" your mom said
"hi" ghost said not knowing what to say
"Hi simon" my dad said and took his hand out for ghost to shake
ghost accepted and shook his hand
"Simon, do you like dolma?" Your mom said
"Like what?" Simon said
"Omg you don't know what dolma is?, your missing out!!" Your mom said
She looked at you
"Have you not made him any dolma? What kind of wife are you?" You mom said jokingly while chuckling
She looked back at simon and said
"dolma is an Iraqi meal with  grape leaves with like rice and stuff but also with potatoes,peppers and more stuff with rice stuffed in them, your life is a loss if you miss out on it, good thing i made a big pot of it" she said explaining to him
"Sounds nice" simon said as he let out a soft 'chuckle'  to not seem rude
"Mhmm" your mom said as you and her continued to talk about your life with you siblings to
"So simon, want to tell me more about yourself?" Your dad said as he patted simon shoulder and took him to sit on the couch
simon got a little nervous thinking he would probably ask about his past or the mask or anything like that
But your dad actually was a very interesting and smart person so simon enjoyed talking to him your dad slowly made him comfortable to as they started to talk about each other's jobs
And slowly,simon started to trust your dad a bit as he saw that he was quiet understanding
And this all happened while you and your siblings and mom set up the table and also talked for a little bit
You guys were done setting up so you asked your sister to go call simon and your dad for dinners
"Hey guys, dinners ready" your sister said with a small smile on her face
"Alright we're coming" your dad said
They both got up and made their way to the dinning table
Everyone sat in a chair your mom sat infront of your dad
And you and ghost sat next to eachother (your dad is on the other side of ghost)
Your sister sat infront of you
And your younger brother sat infront of ghost
After that you guys all are dinner and talked
Ghost talked only a bit but thats a good thing sometimes he doesn't speak at all
And you see him get along with your dad most and that made you very happy
they are pretty similar
Your dad also a little cold and strict but has always loved you all.

I hate this so much 💀
Im sorry that this oneshot isn't really realistic with ghost it was honestly rushed and i hate it
By the way im sorry if some stuff doesn't make sense but like i said it was rushed and im sorry
It's because i know he will never open up so quickly with someone
And he'd be very scared to have a new family
My poor man🙁🫶🏻
he deserves better❤️
