Ghosts pov: It was around Christmas/new years time Im pretty sure every on base is leaving to go see there family i'll have to stay here to make sure nothing happens Not like i do have some where to go.. So i don't have a problem with it except the emptiness and quiet allows me to think..alot. It makes me want to rip my head off my body I just sat in my room staring at the wall Waiting for everyone to leave.. Y/ns pov : It was my first year in this force Also my first Christmas And i think everyone has a break to go see their family I had no idea what was gonna happen and what im supposed to do I have no where to go I don't even know who my parents are... Im just gonna wait for price to tell me what to do i guess ____________ 2 hours later I heard a knock on my door "Coming" i said as i got up from my bed I walked towards the door and opened it Price stood at the door "Yes sir?" I asked "Y/n...your not going anywhere..?" He asked I shook my head no His lips formed into a line as he sighed "You can come with me if you'd like" he said as he smiled I smiled "Thank you, but it's okay, can't i stay here?" I asked "Of course, you you can stay here y/n" he said "ok then it's alright" i said He nodded "You sure you don't wanna come with me? You'll be pretty much alone plus, You know im like your father right?" He said with a smile I laughed "You are, but it's okay really" i said He nodded "Alright then, i'll be leaving ,see you y/n" he said "See you cap" i said with a smile "Oh yeah by the way , theres a Christmas tree down in the living room you can decorate it if you get bored, theres some decorations in the attic." He said "Okay sounds fun" i said "Mhm, alright bye now" he said "Bye" i said with a smile He nodded and i watched him leave I sighed and closed my door Sucks to be me ........ After a few hours of doing random stuff Such as drawing , reading or staring at my wall I decided to leave my room to watch a movie I dressed into more comfy clothes , grabbed my soft blanket and headed to the room I noticed the large Christmas tree right next to the TV No decorations on it Maybe i can decorate it later i placed my stuff and went to the kitchen for a snack I got some gold fish and headed back It took me a second to think if movie till i decided to watch home alone Since it was the perfect time for it Plus i always found comfort from it i began to watch the movie while eating my gold fish ......... I finished watching the movie and looked at the time ..great still a lot more hours till the day ends My gaze went back to the Christmas tree Let's decorate it :) I remember price saying there's decorations in the attic I walked upstairs towards the attics door It was on the ceiling so a little hard to reach I had to jump a couple times and hang on it I pulled the door down and climbed up the latter It was a bit dark so i had to look around a bit I kicked a few things but didn't care to check them Finally, i found a big box that i assumed had the decor in it I opened it and checked i was right As I took the box with me and turned around to climb back down... "Who's there?" A deep loud and very clear voice spoke I flinched so badly i almost fell I turned around and saw Ghost? "Lt?" I said "Y/n." He said "What are you doing?" He asked Ghosts pov: I didn't realise i took a nap as i woke up from a noise some where from the ceiling I remembered the attic was above my room im pretty sure i heard a noise Someones in the attic... The whole team left Who could it be? I waited a second until i heard another sound That confirmed it for me I took my gun and slowly opened my room door I saw the latter hanging from the ceiling I realised a person was in there once i saw them trying to get down It was also a girl "Who's there?" I half-yelled The girl flinched badly I almost let out a laugh She turned around oh "Lt?" Y/n said "Y/n." I said "What are you doing?" I asked "Well price told me i could decorate the tree down stairs" she said as she climbed down with the box in her hand "I see" i said "Yeah..,what are you doing here i thought i was alone?" She asked as she stood and faced me "What are you doing here y/n?" I asked her She sighed "It's complicated" she said "I understand, same thing with me" i said "oh.., well im sorry to hear that" she said "Hm" i said she looked down and i looked forward at her we stood in silence for a bit She was new here and i wasn't exactly comfortable with her "Well, why don't you come help me with the tree?" She asked "..im okay, thanks" i said "Please, im bored" She said "I don't know..im tired" i said "Come on we'll make cookies after" she said and went down the stairs to the living room I thought about just ignoring her and going back to my room But i didn't exactly want to I closed the attic door and followed her downstairs She opened the box and took out the ornaments and lights "Which theme should we make it?" She asked I shrugged "What colour do we have most of?" I asked "Red" she said "Ok then" "You do the higher parts and i'll do the lower parts" she said "Ok" i said I never really decorated a tree before I didn't really know what to do I turned to see what y/n was doing only to find her also looking at me She also was looking to see what i was doing She chuckled "Im not sure how we're supposed to do this" she said "Me neither" i said ______ 1 hour and a half later God that was tiring we didn't know what to do at first And we decorated like three times Constantly starting over But the ned result was pretty good

( i don't own this photo) Spending time with y/n was nice She was pretty sweet She didn't say anything that would've made me uncomfortable I wasn't happy for having a new permanent member in the force at first But now shes not so bad after all Might even become a close friend like johnny "We did great!" She said "Yea" i said "Time to make cookies!" She said "You could do that yourself , im tired" i said "Whhhyyy? Come on come on" she said and went to the kitchen I sighed and stretched for a moment I followed her to the kitchen because I realized i didn't have anything else to do This Christmas wasn't going to be so lonely if we're together.
