Nightmare

Reo's pov:
I can't wait for Nagi to come over. Just five more minutes!! I hope this time he won't fall asleep early.
*the doorbell rings *
"This must be Nagi!!" I get up and make my way to the door excitedly. I open the door and my best friend comes in.
"Hello!" he said with a sleepy tone.
"Hi!" I smiled and pulled him into a quick hug.
We then started playing video games because Nagi insisted. He's amazing at sports games especially and I never stand a chance against him.
*time skip*
"It's getting late and I am kinda sleepy" the white haired boy says while yawning.
"Well I guess it is pretty late. Okay then, let's go to sleep!"
"Okay, I'll sleep on the futon. You take the bed."
"What? No, Nagi I can sleep on the futon please make yourself comfortable on the bed, you need to get good rest." I said.
The boy agreed and then we proceeded to fall asleep. I drifted to sleep extremely fast and let myself succumb to the peacefulness.

"Reo"
Eh?
"Reo!"
Huh?
"REO!"
What?? Is that nagi?
I finally saw the figure which was calling my name. He came closer to me and asked me to follow him. I agreed and let the usually sleepy boy guide me. Suddenly he stopped and faced me.
"Reo...I need to tell you something that has been on my mind lately."
Eh? Nagi wants to tell me something important?
"I...maybe you don't feel the same way but..."
Is he going to confess his love for me? But I thought he'd never like someone like me...
"Playing soccer with you is starting to feel boring, don't you think?"
What?! This has to be a joke, right?
"Look at yourself, you're pathetic. Were you expecting a confession? Hah, don't make me laugh! You're boring and you know it. That's why you cling to me like you need me to survive."
Huh..? No this...can't be possible...
"Nagi...I.." I started to feel my face get wet from my tears.
"What, Reo? Are you going to beg me to forgive you for being so useless? Grow up and realize that I don't need you. You were just a distraction. You're nothing to me!"
Suddenly I collapsed and started shaking. The tears wouldn't stop falling from my eyes and my legs wouldn't stop trembling.
Nagi....
Nagi!
NAGI! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!

Nagi's pov:
I started hearing someone calling my name. I properly woke up and noticed reo repeating my name like he was in a trance. I decided to go and check what was wrong.
When I got closer to the boy I could see his tears that continued painting his face. I gently dragged my hand across his cheek, drying his wet face.
I didn't know what to do so the best I could do was to try and wake him.
"Reo, please wake up!" I said as I started to feel myself panic
Reo then started moving. He woke up!
"Nagi...why..?" He said, his voice trembling.
I suddenly felt the urge to hug him tightly.He began crying on my shoulder so I started petting his head, trying to calm him down.
Then he pulled away and said "Nagi...I thought you hated me..that you thought I was boring and useless. That shattered me. I...I'm so glad it was all just a bad dream."
"Reo..! Listen to me! I'd never say these types of things because you're the most amazing person that I know. Without you I would be nothing. You're the light in my life. The only one who can understand me. If I were to lose you, I'd lose a part of myself. Reo I don't think you understand how much I care about you and I..." I started crying slowly. "I'm not good at expressing myself but you should now that I love you more than anything!"
Reo became silent and stared at me for a few seconds. Suddenly he smiled and kissed me gently on the lips with so much love. I kissed back and carresed his cheek lightly. Then he pulled away and said " I love you too Nagi, so very much! I'm so glad..." he then hugged me tightly and said "I'm never letting you go! "
I hugged him back and carried him to the bed where we fell asleep with me still cuddling him in my arms.
