Sickness

Nagi's pov:
It's been two days since Reo started staying at home instead of coming to school. I wonder what's wrong and I'm starting to get really worried. I decided that I would pay him a visit after class.
*time skip*
After school was over I started walking towards Reo's house as worry started to drown me. "What if he's not alright?" "What if he's feeling depressed?" What if he collapsed and couldn't phone his parents that are gone on a business trip in time?" I decided to shake those thoughts away as I arrived at my best friend's house. I lightly knocked on the door and waited for him to answer. After a minute nothing happened so I decided to check if maybe the door was left open. Luckily I managed to enter and I went directly to Reo's room. It was a mess! He's the most organized person that I know so this was a bit weird to me.
"Nagi?" Reo asked with a shaky voice.
"Yeah it's me! I came here to check on you. Are you sick?"
"Yes, I..." he started coughing aggressively.
I rushed to him and lightly patted his back in an attempt to calm him down. Slowly he stopped coughing but his breathing was still unsteady. This is bad.
"Reo ,have you seen a doctor?"
"Yes, they just told me to rest and take my medication. My parents are gone outside of the country so I have to try and get better on my own."
"No, I'll stay with you until you're healthy again!"
"Nagi, you don't have to. Go to school, I don't want you to miss out on anything! I'll be just fine."
Even tho he said that with pride I could tell he wasn't feeling well at all so I decided to follow my instincts and stay by his side.
"I'm staying here and helping you and you're not allowed to complain!"
Reo sighed in defeat then smiled and whispered a small "thank you" before closing his eyes. While he was sleeping I wet a towel and placed it on his burning forehead to help with his fever. Then I prepared a strawberry tea with lemon and placed it on a table near the bed . I gently shook Reo's shoulder to wake him up. Afterwards I gave him the medication and some of the tea that I made for him. After a while he started feeling a little bit better even though his fever wasn't going down at all. I sat next to him and then placed his head on my lap. I wanted him to get the best sleep he could. I started softly massaging his hair and I felt him giving in to my touch and falling asleep. I lost track of time and ended up petting his hair the whole time that he slept, but for some reason it didn't feel weird at all. It felt nice touching Reo's soft silky hair. I could stay with him forever.
Suddenly I had a strong urge to hug Reo. I gently lifted his head from my lap and placed it on my chest instead. I laid down with the other boy on top of me. I snaked my hands around his waist and relaxed into his warmth. He was sleeping like an angel and i couldn't help but notice how beautiful his face was. I then subconsciously planted a kiss on his forehead. It felt good. I liked it and I wanted to try it again but this time, I kissed him on the lips. I suddenly felt Reo waking up as his eyes widened and his cheeks got a dark red colour. Even so, the boy kissed back with love. I pulled back and stared at him.
"You're going to catch a cold too Nagi what were you thinking? And...why'd you kiss me?"he said embarrassed.
"Reo, I love you! I don't care about some stupid cold. I want to hold you and kiss you forever."
"I-Nagi...I love you too! I never thought you could like me back"
"Of course I do, you're everything to me!"
We then fell asleep and the next morning we both had a cold. It's okay tho, it was worth it in the end.
