❝𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 ~ 𝐃𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐢 𝐱 𝐟𝐞𝐦 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬❞

❝𝐀 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐲❞

A young and handsome pirate was walking the beach searching for a sweet melody he had heard from afar. The sound was angelic and filled with beauty that anyone would fall for. He knew of the origins of this sound, but still wanted to find the beauty creating such a wonderful noise. This siren he longed to find would be his gateway to death which made him even more eager to follow the beautiful voice.

As he had encountered a large cave opening on a small and hidden cove, he began to enter and and walk around as much as he could in hope of finding the gateway to his greatest dreams.

After walking a few hundred feet the pirate began to get deeper into a small pool of water. As he got deeper he stepped in a hole and began sinking into the water's depths. The singing got louder as he sunk which calmed him as he slowly lowered. From behind a mound of rocks a beautiful siren appeared in front of him. The siren circled him out of curiosity to examine her newest captive. They both stared into each others eyes for a bit but the need for air became obvious to the pirate. As he began to swim up the siren followed so she would not loose her treasure.

As the two surfaced the siren inched closer to him. Merely inches apart the captain looked up into her beautiful eyes.

"You sure are beautiful, aren't I lucky~" he states.

You stare back into his beautiful brown eyes and blush at his words.

"... shut up..." you snap back.

"But your attitude not so much" he says with an obvious change in expression.

You want to kill him, that's what you do to live, but maybe this time you could make an exception...

❀ꗥ～ꗥ❀ 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐩 ❀ꗥ～ꗥ❀

You two began to meet everyday to see each other and for him to hear your singing once again. However, a new feeling began to dwell in you but you weren't quite sure what it was. It also didn't seem to feel right either. He constantly begged for you to kill him in a joking tone but because of the amounts of times he asked it didn't seem like a joke. Because of your newly developed feelings for him you could not possibly bring yourself to harm him.

❀ꗥ～ꗥ❀ 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐩 ❀ꗥ～ꗥ❀

One day the pirate came to visit you as usual but something felt off.

"(Y/n) I brought something I want you to try!"

You looked at him skeptically not sure of what he wanted to do to you.

He came closer and placed something into your hands. It was a small vile containing a liquid of a purplish-blue substance. You opened it to take a whiff of it and immediately closed it up again after smelling the horrid scent.

"It's a potion I received that will turn you into a human so we can live happily together on land!" He stated while caressing your delicate hands.

You weren't too sure if what he said was true but decided to give it a go. As you drank the contents, you began to feel a bit sick and dizzy. You passed out but Dazai was quick to catch you.

He carried you onto the shore and waited patiently for you to awaken. It didn't take long for you to wake, and when you did you opened your eyes to see him overjoyed.

"Did you sleep well darling~"

You say up in his grasp and looked down to find your tail missing. In its place a pair of legs were connected to your torso. It felt odd at first but you easily got the hang of it. He watched as you struggled to walk a few feet in front of you and was quick to catch you when you fell.

"Follow me darling" he said as he grasped your hand gently.

You two walked for quite some time and when you reached another hidden cove he tightly took hold of your body and whispered in your ear. "I love you and I'm sorry darling..." as he kissed you on the lips gently.

You knew immediately that he had to change you into a human to make you able to drown. It was the only way for you two to die in each other's arms. His ideal perfect suicide was finally happening. You two hit the water hard causing you to hurt and slowly loose consciousness; however, you were able to catch a glimpse of him glowing in the moonlight. This view of him was wonderful and enough for you in your final moments. You didn't mind dying like this as long as it was with him.

I love you too Dazai...
