❝𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 ~ 𝐃𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐢 𝐱 𝐟𝐞𝐦 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬❞

❝𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐨𝐞❞

It was that time of year... again...
Not just Christmas, but the whole month of December ruined your mood, and it has for a while now. You wouldn't call yourself a grinch but Christmas no longer lightened your spirits like it used to when you were a child. But this year you would be spending it with your boyfriend, Dazai, and your coworkers.

Everyone at the ADA decided to go out for dinner one night and take a walk through the festive lights afterwards. Dazai's hand was protectively holding yours tightly as if he'd lose you at any moment. He knew this time of year has always been hard for you. It isn't like you've lost anyone around this time (Author is so sorry if you have), but you just don't feel happy anymore when the "most wonderful time of the year" rolls around the corner.

When everyone arrived at the festive atmosphere Dazai took your hand and called to everyone else.

"We'll meet up with the rest of you all in a bit!" He exclaims while waving and dragging you by the wrist to a nearby location.

"Don't get too carried away!~" your coworkers shout back.

After walking some distance towards a lit Christmas tree, Dazai takes both of your hands in his and faces you.

"How are you holding up?" He asks while bringing a hand up to caress your cheek.

"I'm fine..." you reply while leaning into his touch.

"I see... " he replies.

It was silent for some time until you felt his lips brush against yours.

"We're under the mistletoe (y/n)~" he whispers.

You look up with slight disapproval. "That's a tree branch Dazai-"

"Ahh you're no fun angel~" he says with a sarcastic voice.

You roll your eyes in return and pull him close.

"Fine just one~"

He chuckles and grabs your waist, bringing you in for a kiss.

"You should know by now, with me it's never just one~"

You laugh and kiss him gently.

"I love you Dazai... thank you for caring about me~"

"I love you too~ I will always care for you~"
